My money league. None of you are in it. Standard scoring with big bonus for forty or more yard Td catch. I have Nicks. UGH. I also have Crabtree . LaFell is on the FA list. I have Meachem who I could drop for Lafell. I'm stuck on who to play.
I'm thinking Crabtree against St. Louie. Lafell any good this week against Denver? I'm thinking not so much. Any thoughts.

Nicks could break out anytime now Craig...but I understand the hesitation on him. Crabtree is hit and miss and LaFell has been hurt.
Meachem> LMAO

Nicks is your best option.

I think Danarrio Alexander may take Meachems spot. He's big and reminds me and Rivers of Vincent Jackson. Either that or he will push Meachem into being a real receiver. Nicks didn't practice because his knee sweeled up again.

Thanks Plax. anyone besides Jeff with an unbias opinion. Haha
You don't think Nicks is hurt worse than we think and is just a decoy Plax?

not really sure Craig.
it might be naggin him a little bit seeing as how his knee and foot are iffy right now. i think danario alexander could be a nice sleeper in case Nicks can't go.

Nicks in the last five games has scored 18 points total. As bad as Meachem has been has scored 26 in his last five games.
Alexander is most defenately a guy to watch. Meachem is back to healthy so I don't know if Norv has the balls to bench Meachem and play the better lower paid guy.

I wouldn't take Crabtree. Rams CBs are pretty good and give up few big TDs. I wouldn't keep Alexander. He has terrible knees and is unlikely to play more than 2 consecutive weeks. His practice days are always limited. He's not likely to still be on the roster after week 13. I won't move the thread yet. lol.

Id say its a toss up between Crabtree and Nicks.. Nicks is always potential for a big game, and Crabtree has his moments where he looks spectacular.
As far as the 40 yard TD Nicks is a possibility for that.. So is Meachem but he either hasn't played much or has just been shitting the bed all year. Plus Rivers barley has time to through the ball 40 yards with that O-line.
If it were me I would flip a coin between Crabtree and Nicks.

If Nicks is healthy play him no if ands or buts. However after that you run into a pickle.
I like Crabtree's match-up on paper against the Rams more than I do Lafell against the Broncos. With that said both match-ups are going to be tough, however a big plus maybe if Tracey Porter is out again. If so then Lafell gets the edge.
Alexander falls into the same grey area against SF, and like LAB pointed out he is injury prone. This all boils down to the secondaries and pass rushes each team are facing. And of course, the QB's throwing to them. Smith Newton and Stafford all have ups and downs this year. But they are definitely in the top half of QBs.
Meachem should be better then he is, but in a high power offense where there are weapons galore, he won't get the number of targets he needs to be consistent.
