Keys to the game:
3 - Protect Cam - Good lord. We're putting Garry Williams, a horrible offensive linemen, up against DeMarcus Ware, the best pass rusher in the league. We are going to need to have a back or TE to help Williams at all times, or Cam will be blasted every other play.
2 - Establish a running game early - Something that, if we don't do, Chud thinks that we need to send every receiver on streaks and post routes and no one be within ten yards of the LoS. We signed J-Stew to the extension, we signed D-Will to a new contract, we signed Tolbert in the off-season. Use them, don't sit them on your mantle place and admire them, which is what Chud is doing. Cam MUST get a good game going running the ball, as well.
1 - Knock Romo off his game - I think we can get pressure on Romo, a fair amount too. But will it mess him up? Possibly. Look at the Romo week one against the Giants. One of the best games of by a QB this season, and Romo shreads the Giants. Will that Romo show up? Or will it be the Romo against the Bears where he threw six INTs? Pressure on Romo will help determine if it'll be the Romo against NY, against CHI, or one in between.
How we can lose this game:
3 - Not give Garry Williams any help - Pretty simple, our worst OL (possibly on the roster) is going up against a future HoF. He NEEDS help protecting Cam.
2 - Put our running game on the mantle place - Read Establish a running game. Don't give up on the running game, PLEASE. It is the best in the league, don't ignore it.
1 - No turnovers - We can not turn the ball over, this will be a high scoring game if we want to win, we MUST win in a shootout, so every drive counts, every field goal counts, every punt inside the 20 is big. Turning the ball over and giving Dallas a short field could KILL us. Cam must not turn the ball over or our offensive might get out of sync, put Chud in panic mode and call Cam to throw the ball to Smitty on a Fly route, or give Dallas a short field and a Field Goal, if not a TD.
