Wow. Sorry Panther--- you can't catch a break today. Now your ST can't even hold onto the ball. *sigh*

Not looking good...
Panthers will be hot and cold this year, it depends upon how our OL does.

I can't get too excited. No offense Panther but I think this is the case of your team not showing up more so than ours dominating. You guys need to find a way to get one of the star DTs in the 2013 Draft.

jeffkkkyep. i stressed that CAR is not as good on offense when Cam cannot change the game with his legs. He is trying to be a pocket passer, where that might not be the best option for CAR, especially with all of the explosive players they have.

Oh, my, what happened last night? My one paragraph only for each team:
Panthers: Unrecognizable. And I'll leave at that.
Giants: Backups did a nice job, way better than I expected. A question to be left hanging in the air, unanswered: is Andre Brown the ground-and-pound, smash mouth factor we've been looking for all this time?

Have teams got a better read on Newton?
If he can't get better at pocket passing (which involves the OL giving him time as well), it could be a long year for him. Esp against teams that have the kind of defenses that can get a good rush and have studied film and have a way to stop him from running.
Soph slump??

The whole "cam didn't have a offseason to prepare last year" argument is invalid to me because the defense didn't have an offseason to prepare for him either. I think Cam will still have success with teams that have to bring extra guys to pressure him, but will struggle against teams that only have to bring 3/4 to get the pressure. Cam needs to be dangerous with his legs to keep opposing teams honest. I won't call it a sophomore slump but I do think his numbers will be down some from last year. I'm starting to not like how Cam carries himself. Doing his superman crap when down 20? Then acting all upset after the game. And worst of all, saying Panthers fans should lower their heads in shame??? He should not have said that. He should have just said we will get better. blah blah blah... Still moving to Atlanta?
