You my friend, are outstanding, and as you know the person I was referring to. And 'tbh' you didn't have to negate much. A little fallout in 1 league, but you never started any trouble with anyone. I'm much worse than you. But most other arrivals didn't take long at all. If anyone had any issue whatsoever with anyone, they could get tabled for awhile. Don't get me wrong. It made some sense at the time. Who knew NFL would combust like that? But still, some people here took themselves too seriously and pompously IMO, while others who felt they had a lot vested here could only watch and hope for the best. I like to say 'water under the bridge', but many will never get that there is some deep-seated anger and resentment surrounding the forum in general. Perhaps it is best left unsaid, IDK. And you don't have to be a GYer to appreciate all that. Everyone tried. It is what it is. May not be perfect, but thankful that it's here, and for every person as well, even patriotsk1d. lol I think the problem here with a lot of people is that they worry a lot about their self-image. I did for awhile to, with me copying all those ideas and stuff; I wanted to be like all the "OG's" that were mostly accepted here right off the bat, because I had actually been around just as long or even longer than some of the people who have that "name" now. Especially in that one league too; I went crazy with all that. The crazy thing with that league was that it was great in the first year, but it pretty much just spiraled out of control in the 2nd half, completely my fault to, but I learned a lot about that, as well as how you act here in a forum and in a league with people. Like right now, I saw at argument in the thread about Brady's suspension being upheld, and it was just more than disagreeing. Disagreeing is fine, and I think it's a good thing to an extent, but it's like "Man, this is a football forum. Why can't we just debate stuff and not get personal with all of our past stuff?". I've been one of the more vocal people on here trying to convey that message, and I think I've done a decent job. I made a thread on it here nflfanforums.proboards.com/thread/4289/on-state-forum, which you actually commented on, and I just wish everyone just thought like that here. Log on, talk football (and other topics), be yourself, don't harass others, and respect the opinion of other people (they may not like it, but they should at least live with it). Sometimes I think the other way about what I think and put on the shoes of the other user and wonder 'Why is he thinking of it this way?' and stuff. If we just stop caring about what everyone thinks of us and be respectful, it makes this place a lot more enjoyable in my opinion. A lot of times when you don't care what other people think of you, respect doesn't go hand in hand with that. I guess you're talking about Skid and CoC. And they bicker. But I like to think they bicker like those old grumpy men who are neighbors and they don't like how the other one trims the divider bushes. They're basically harmless and sort of amusing when seen from the street as you roll by. Edit: Some people are just going to take things a little further than some people are comfortable with. That's just people, and it's a side effect of the internet I think.

Divebitch NFL.com started closing down even before the migration started here. NFL.com already transfered all of there articles and gamecenter areas to facebook in June of 2012 and that was why we had to move here, because it was only a matter of time when it would happen. Thus the fact that the War Rooms and Forums were the only place for people to comment that didn't use facebook, and it increased the troll population count in the process. Eventually everything was officially deleted in May of 2013 sometime after the draft. We had plenty of time to move people here, but at the time everyone was sick of trolls and didn't want a big number of people. When I myself was still a mod, most of the other mods felt the same way that we didn't want to expand to more random people since we didn't feel like having another NFL.com situation and we would reject anybody that would register that we didn't know. But now looking back at that, I see it was a mistake in doing that.
