If a cop smells marijuana in a vehicle, he has the right to ask them to step out of the car. And he has to comply. The kid had no reason to not step out of the car. He was just being defiant, and yes, resisting the law. Him being 17, I *believe*, doesn't mean he doesn't have to get out of the car if the cop asks him to if there is probable cause, which there was, at least allegedly. Now, the cops went too far, and the force was really excessive, but the kid hit the cop's arms off when he tried to pull him out when the kid didn't get out after being asked several times. And there was no reason they couldn't have waited till his mom got there; however, there was probable cause and if he asked him to get out of the car, he has to do it in this case. The mace and being tazed, especially the second time, was unnecessary and excessive. But it loops back to the kid just being defiant. He should have just gotten out of the car. I'm all about our rights, but the cop wasn't violating them. Again, the the force was *really* excessive and unnecessary, and he should have just waited till the kid's mom got there, but I'm pretty sure he's not required by law to do so, like the kid kept saying the entire time.

Cop is a grade A toolbag. Especially the part near 1:53 where he after he tazed him the first time and he told the get out, as soon as the kid said "alright", he tazed him immediately anyway, didn't even give him a chance. And after reading the comments, apparently the kid is being charged with assault and battery. Yeah he is TOTALLY hurting the cop in that video....NOT. Just goes to show you that cops are lying SOB's that just abuse there power because they can.

And the hits keep on comin' I saw news on that video today. What in there right mind makes them want to do something like that, I will never know. Only logical reason I can see them doing that is they are letting there frustrations out on a possibly very long chase. But even if that's the case, its not a good excuse. The guy is already on the ground and isn't moving, and you handcuffed him, ITS OVER HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING. But lets beat the hell out of him since he can't fight back now, and see how many times we can kick him in the head till he dies. They may be cops, but they are complete cowards that want to act like tough guys instead when someone can't fight back. If you wanna beat someone up, do it like a man.

Wow. A cop saved somebody. That's actually breaking news, if you think about it. Police in America have become terrorists.

Wow. A cop saved somebody. That's actually breaking news, if you think about it. Police in America have become terrorists. I sincerely hope you're being sarcastic as hell. We are so far from a "police state" it's laughable. People with power will always and have always abused it. There is always that percentage that's all about theirs or just wants to flex thier muscle. Lots of cops do terrible things. But that's people in general. This idea that we are in a police state though is absurd. Half of these cop abuse videos are because the person video taping are instigating and fishing for this shit. And No offense Bengal, but saying you've never had a person altercation with a cop followed up with you think half of them are power hungry assholes? C'mon dude. I fucking hate cops. I keep two cameras in my cab because they are -always- trying to cost me money. So I hate defending them, But why are we acting like putting on a uniform makes them inherently more asshole?

You know what white supremacists said to excuse lynchings and police deaths in the riots? The protestors/black people instigated it by "starting things"
When women get raped, the woman gets blamed as instigating it.
Whenever somebody who has sympathy commits vile, vile crimes, the sympathetic person turns to blame the victim. Blaming the victim in cases of police terrorism, in the 1024 cases in 2014 and the rising numbers this year, is pathetic. We are in a police state Morkim.
The majority of rural municipalities in this country are founded 50% or more by revenue generation from the police force. The police are a tax on the poor with the duel purpose of killing off undesirables and keeping racial minorities, the young, and poor white people off the ballots. In most states, if you have any criminal record, you can't vote. Because of this, the NYPD trolls into Brooklyn on a saturday night and has a rule: they pick up one minority for every patrolman on duty that night. Everybody gets one, if you don't get one, your buddy has to pick up two.
They arrest you for things like loitering, impeding a sidewalk, public intoxication (even if you're not), or meeting the description of a crime that was called in (allegedly). You're hauled off in the back of a van usually, a cruiser if you're lucky. You arrive at the station 3 hours later because the pigs have to round up six more innocent people.
When you get to the station, you send one night in jail. When you get bail, if you can make it, you're done. But most people can't along with other fees that get imposed on homeless people. If you can't make that bail, you can't vote in New York because suddenly you're an ex-con.
In New York City, 40% of the black population is off the voter roles as a result. Statistics are even higher if you did it for poor people, but I don't have those numbers.
The police in America are terrorists. Anyone who defends them are defending the greatest terrorist threat in the United States. ISIS killed no one within our borders in 2014. Police killed over a 1000 and impose more fear on racial minorities, the young and the poor.
