Preseason AP poll Not surprised they're this high, but Alabama's still overrated. They are basically the same team as FSU. No QB, lost all playmakers from last year as well as some offensive lineman, though both defenses do look good. 1) Ohio State (61): 1,525 2) TCU: 1,428 3) Alabama: 1,322 4) Baylor: 1,263 5) Michigan State: 1,256 6) Auburn: 1,192 7) Oregon: 1,156 8) USC: 1,085 9) Georgia: 991 10) Florida State: 959 11) Notre Dame: 873 12) Clemson: 862 13) UCLA: 698 14) LSU: 675 15) Arizona State: 605 16) Georgia Tech: 588 17) Ole Miss: 563 18) Arkansas: 410 19) Oklahoma: 394 20) Wisconsin: 393 21) Stanford: 347 22) Arizona: 311 23) Boise State: 240 24) Missouri: 219 25) Tennessee: 114 Well, my Buckeyes look pretty good , but this ranking doesn't mean anything to me. Just waiting for the day we go Blacksburg, VA and look to get revenge on VA Tech (with who knows who as our starting QB at this point).

That entire coaching search was absolutely insane. Everybody on the Michigan side of things was so unified and in the "all or nothing, Harbaugh or bust" mindset. And it seemed like everybody who wasn't affiliated with Michigan in any way despised and played down the prospect of Harbaugh to Michigan every chance they got. It really was an "us against the world" thing. Jason La Canfora, Ian Rapoport, Adam Schefter, and basically every other NFL insider you care to mention said there was no way Harbaugh to Michigan was a legit possibility over and over and over again. They even reported that Michigan met with Harbaugh and left "convinced" that he wanted to remain an NFL coach. It's like the NFL people were locked in an echo chamber in terms of the information they were getting. And a certain arrogance was revealed from a lot of NFL people as well. You could tell, beyond the shitty sources the "insiders" were getting shitty info from, there was just a general belief that "no coach would ever ever willingly go from NFL to college simply because NFL >>>>>>>>>>> everything. Chalk it up to homerism if you want to but I really thought Harbaugh to Michigan made too much sense right from the start. I was relatively confident it would happen once it was clear he was through with San Fran. No way in hell he was going to choose the freaking Oakland Raiders over his beloved Alma Mater.

Oh and before I forget, I'm bringing back the college football weekly meal plan now.
Can't decide what to watch when its Gameday? Have no fear, the meal plan will recommend what games you should watch. I should warn you that all games I selected do not include the SEC, Big 10, Pac 12, ACC, of Big 12 network channels. Reason being is because not all viewers (such as myself) posses those channels. Only way I will mention a game from those channels is if its a big game that week. Anything else from ESPN channels, ABC, NBC, CBS channels, and FOX channels will be included. Here we go.

Minnesota and TCU might be closer than people think. Minne is a well coached and experienced team. Still expect TCU to win tho. I think BYU will beat Nebraska.

I want Minnesota to win, but I don't think it will be close at all. It might in the first half, but I expect TCU to runaway with it in the 2nd half. BYU and Nebraska is a toss up game, so I feel like giving the edge to the home team in this case.
