Now if you want to discount the science all of a sudden, because it doesnt fit your needs, beliefs, etc etc.,then thats on you. Cant say Im surprised. The entire argument from those videos is that things are too complex for natural selection or evolution to create it. That means the men involved feel they have the ability to determine what evolution can and cannot do, based on no scientific evidence. Looking at something and saying "that is beyond what I think something can do means that it is created by an intelligent designer" is not a scientific argument. I don't discount that it is possible that a creator set everything in motion, including evolution, but to try and discount evolution by saying something is too complex for evolution to be the cause of it is just wrong. The fact that evolution is the ONLY scientifically supported/accepted theory for how life on this planet has come to be as it is today would suggest that evolution is capable of creating such things as the bacterial flagellum. If ID was a viable theory, more than a couple rogue scientists would be studying it and there would be actual evidence that is a possibility. I don't reject those videos because it doesn't fit my needs or beliefs, I reject them because there is no scientific evidence to support it. Just because the guy tries to explain his beliefs using some scientific terminology and figures, does not mean that his argument has any scientific validity. You are the one who mocks science daily, but the second you see a video that suggests that science might help your argument, you stand behind it. Can't say I am surprised, since religious people are forced to pick and choose what they use as evidence, given the extreme levels of contradiction littering the bible. Ignoring one line of a book in favor of the next line is second nature to someone used to reading the bible.

You are the one who mocks science daily Don't act so innocent, saska. I very openly mock religion. I have never tried to hide that. But I don't then use religious teachings to justify my actions. My mockery is quite consistent. I am not attacking Jeff for mocking science, I am pointing out that he mocks it one day then tries to use it to justify an argument the next. Please use my full quotes when you quote me. I am not the bible and I don't appreciate you cherry picking specific words out of context to make me sound hypocritical.

The way you said it, it sounded like you were scolding jeff for mocking science, when you mock Christianity on a regular basis. I'm sorry if I misunderstood. Btw, it's not like we even mock science. I like science. It's fascinating, and to me it just shows how creative and powerful God is.

I don't lump you guys all together just because you are both Christians. Jeff says I live in a bubble where I only believe science and my atheism and I ignore everything else. Science isn't a belief, it is a tool that yields results. I don't 'believe' in science, I have the ability to view the data as it has been presented. If I choose to disagree with what has been presented, I can find evidence to back my beliefs. Jeff makes fun of me for living in my bubble where I believe in science, and then the second he finds a video that suggests that science might prove what he believes, he posts it as proof that he is right. That would be like me stoning someone who committed adultery and then using the bible to justify why I did it after mocking the bible as I have done for so long. It is hypocritical.

That is awesome and very exciting! Mostly because of the massive number of bodies found, which provides a large sample size to study. This is great news for people who are eager to learn more about our origins. For anti-evolutionists, this just means two more missing links opened up which need to be filled in now. It would be nice if they could just finally accept the overwhelming amount of evidence staring them in the face.

NASA reports that water has been found on Mars. It's pretty possible there could be microbial life in the Mars water.
