Do yall not think that God talks to people? He has his way.
BTW...He DOES have a right to pratice his faith...and I think he may be just testing this country's willingness to let him...or lack thereof.

The issue is that he is making stupid business decisions based on advice he says he got from God. If the manager of a company you worked for was Muslim and said that Allah said give all his money away and fire his employees, would you criticize his decision? No one is saying he can't talk to God in his own way, but we have the right to criticize a bad decision.

Panther posted this on purpose Saska...Im stopping..lol ? (why did that make a sad face? I didn't mean to make a sad face) By the way I talk to God all the time. God talks back to me. My problem is sometimes I don't listen. But he never leaves me.

Michael Sam hurts his draft stock by coming out as gay, but he's incredibly courageous and brave. This guy leaves the combine because God told him to and he's a "WHACK JOB!!!". I didn't hear you criticizing Michael Sam's "bad decision" by hurting his draft stock (please correct me if I'm wrong).

I didn't hear you criticizing Michael Sam's "bad decision" by hurting his draft stock (please correct me if I'm wrong). That is an interesting point and you really made me think about that, so thank you. I don't think I am being hypocritical in criticizing one player and not the other though. Sam is gay. He didn't decide to to become gay at the time of the draft. Coming out and telling people he is gay may have hurt his stock, but given that many teammates already knew, it was likely going to come out anyways, especially given the extent to which teams scout/interview/research the prospects they are looking at. What Sam did was stand up and face the issue head on, rather than have it turn up down the road and have coaches/teammates/fans distrust him because he withheld this from them. It would have been a bigger issue if guys found out they had been showering with a gay guy months later, than for guys to be prepared for it going into the off-season. What Muema did was choose to skip the combine, a major part of the scouting process, because apparently God said he would go to the team he wanted to go to if he skipped it. What he did was make a mockery of the whole draft system because he is basically saying that God is in control of who goes where, so the work other players put into this and the time that management and scouting put into their research is all for nothing, since God already knows who goes where. I see a major difference between Sam and Muema, but I appreciate you challenging me on the issue and forcing me to really think about what I was saying.

"Whack Job", my words. And I stand by them. Acknowledge awareness of the few facts out there to see what we're dealing with. Are you aware he 'talked to God in numbers'?!? This is not a question of God's existence, or whether a conversation with him is even weird. Keep in mind that playing for Seattle was a dream of his. You think God is gonna tell him? "No, I see the Steelers". He's hearing what he wants, and not within the realm of sanity IMO. This is what I find most shocking...Would God instruct you to do something so crazy, knowing no team would draft you? They were communicating in numbers!!! So God told him to abandon football, and he was just being DISHONEST about the message?? Sounds like he decided he was not worthy or couldn't deal with the process? No good answer, I don't care what your religious beliefs. It's a lose-lose. You can't compare it to Michael Sam, who is totally lucid, wants to make it in the NFL. Michael Sam for better or for worse believes in himself, answered all questions, and saw where it could lead. IMO, nothing to do with God. Said before, where was God when he bought his ticket to Indy? This kid is very disturbed.

I don't know the guy, but like I said earlier, his team mates said he was errrrrrr different. And very religious. I just hope he is okay. I have read some reports that he would have gone in the fifth or sixth round.

I have read some reports that he would have gone in the fifth or sixth round. No secret that most people thought he'd go 4 - 7th round, so 5th or 6th is not a shocker even if they actually knew. You probably hear quicker than anyone out there, so keep an eye open, I'm really curious.
