Beastified Why would Miami ever take a WR? They have 4 guys right now they are totally happy with, not to mention Charles Clay who makes a 5th. I can honestly say that at that point in the draft WR is probably one of the last things on their board.

Miami's starting WR's are Mike Wallace (#1) and Brian Hartline (#2), and Brandon Gibson (#3) right?
You got Wallace the burner/deep threat and Hartline a possession WR. The biggest WR on the roster from what I see is Aaron Binns at 6"3, 211.
I think Brian Hartline should be a #3, and Gibson a #4.
Kelvin Benjamin at 6"5 and 243 would fit very good there as the #2 wr. Great Redzone target.

cityofchamps if they do trade him then I am fine with taking a WR but unless they do it is a total unnecessary pick. Last year Brandon Gibson before he got hurt was stepping up as the #1 WR. He got the majority of the targets epsecially on 3rd down where he was near the top of the league in 3rd down conversions. Highly underrated and is no way our #4 WR. Rishard Mathews stepped in for him while he was injured and did a serviceable job. Easily enough to get him a #4 spot on our roster. Hartline is good and doesn't need to be moved from where he is, he doesn't do anything spectacular but doesn't have any real weakness. If Wallace can step it up from last year we are fine. Binns is the #5 guy on our roster. As far as a Redzone threat Clay was damn good in the redzone last year. I will say this again WR isn't something they would take in the first 3 rounds. OL, DT, TE, CB, S, and RB are all things I would take long before WR for Miami. Unless Mike Wallace is traded, and even then Cooks is the guy I would take not Benjamin. Remember this is a Philbin offense and he is trying to build it like the offense he had in GreenBay. He has most of the pieces in place, except and O-line.

That really, really shocks me. He used to play in STL you know, and he was the #2 here when we had a really bad WR core. I guess he has really improved.
I also did not know about Philbin and his offense. I will change this pick come my next mock draft.

That site is just going off how they view his talent vs his current contract and is making baseless speculation. If the Dolphins agree with you, he won't be released
