Well he tested positive for codeine for his first suspension, depends on whether or not you want to believe that he was naive of the fact that it was a banned substance for a sore throat. Many Browns reports said that the story likely was false seeing as his agent would have made sure to tell him that it was a banned substance, and that he was already in the drug program the league would have been doubly sure to let him know that. Then there was all the failed tests, suspensions, and being kicked off multiple teams in college. You're blending illegal and "against policy" like they're the same. Von Miller is getting high on pot. But it's not illegal. It's illegal if you don't have a prescription, which would be hard to prove. Regardless it's banned in the NFL, it's all the same only difference is he doesn't have to deal with the law, but he has to answer to the NFL.

I mean the law isn't going to get on you for wearing a hat either. It was said he's doing things that are illegal and Pouncey's just being immature. When really they're both just being immature.

Taking codeine for recreational use is illegal, same with the DWI. Illegal can be used to refer to the law and the NFL I suppose?

I conceded the driving over the limit was dumb. (.09 is three beers I think?) And I think you conceded we really don't know if he was using it recreationally.

I suppose so, it's not nearly as hard to believe that he didn't know than if it were adderall.

I am going to disagree with you on this one. Mike has just gotten caught more often. Maurkice was the one who publicly apologized for the Free Hernandez Hat incident last year while Mike just did nothing. I think you are clearly lumping them together and generalizing because they are twins. Maurkice and Mike don't do everything together (what pair of twins do at that age?) and just because one gets in trouble more doesn't mean they are both doing the same things. I am not just trying to be a homer here and trying to defend a player from my team. This is simple logic and you seem to be ignoring it in light of your own personal preferences and assumptions. lol at your last sentence.

Sadly its all too believable that either Pouncey is invovled.. Mike Pouncey although a great player is a giant moron and I would be happy to see him traded, I doubt his brother is much better as it seems they are constantly together in the off-season. Believable because they are famous, not based on logic. Innocent until proven guilty Jin. Whether or not you like the guy, you cannot make assumptions because neither of us or anyone else on this site was there. Accept when Johnny Manziel is involved. Then it is guilty until proven innocent.

It has nothing to do with them being famous it has to do with Mike Pouncey's actions up to this point. I am not saying he did it, all I am saying is that its sad at how quickly it is accepted because of who was involved and how much of a dick the one brother is. You think I want the best player on my team to be a giant dick who I'd like to see traded? And your last sentence makes no sense If we were there we wouldn't need to make assumptions.. So I can absolutely make assumptions.. In fact not knowing is a giant part of making assumptions I have made no assumptions about this case.. I heard the Pouncey brothers assaulted someone and I just thought "Yea that sounds about right" and went on with my life I guess making no assumptions is a lie, I made the assumption that Maurkice Pouncey is similar to his brother seeing how much time they spend together. I want to like the Pouncey twins as they are fantastic players, so far they have given me nothing but reasons to dislike them outside of football.

The Steelers don't have the option to cut or trade Maurkice with his contract unless something was written up in the contract concerning off-field behavior. That being said, neither Pouncey brother were named in the incident report. Looks like things should be cleared up after next week with the "victim's" testimony and the police looking at the video tape in the club. Multiple witnesses have said that neither were involved. Ahh good one less reason to hope Miami trades Mike lol. Already have a pile of check marks against him and the only one keeping him on the team is that he is our best player and the rest of our offensive line is a pile of crap or unproven

These people's (who are now suing the Pounceys) story doesn't add up. So they claim the Pounceys started taunting them in the VIP section, then started using anti-gay slurs, then got 4 bouncers and attacked one guy? Then his female friend supposedly was brave enough to try and break up a fight between 6 well-built guys and her friend? I don't buy it at all. There is obviously something different that went on here and these guys are just suing either out of spite or for their own 15 minutes of fame.
