Heres what I think should be done. The officials should all be fined. They don't enforce the rule that you cant be in the white area. It is the officials fault and was bound to happen. Enforce the rules from day one and this would not happen. You give a head coach an inch and they will push it to as far as you let them. And that goes for ALL the head coaches. Jeez right at the snap Tomlin walked almost directly in front of the ref on the white line and the ref didn't so much as flinch.

I of course don't have a problem if the NFL gave him a bigger fine. But taking away draft picks (in Tomlin's case) is extreme. A 1 game suspension should be the maximum, IF they can prove intent. As I see it right now, Tomlin has never had any problems in the past. Not even a slight slip up and I'd say he deserve some benefit of the doubt. If this was a longer tenured coach like Belichick or Reid I'm sure they'd get off light as well. This is where I say you are dead wrong. The burden of proof is NOT on the league or Ravens or whoever. It's on Tomlin, IF ANYONE. He committed the infraction, NO ONE ELSE should have to prove intent. Burden of proof (if even allowable) is on him to prove lack thereof, and good luck with that. If we don't lighten the mood in here I'm going to go nuts. These are good though.

The refs also missed the false start on Suisham's botched snap. Instead of a tackle for a lost it should have been a penalty then a punt to put the Ravens back in their own side of the field.

From NFL.com
"Because the conduct affected a play on the field, a modification or forfeiture of draft choices will be considered after the final order of the 2014 draft has been determined," the league said in a statement.

Yep. Goodell and his henchmen basically holding the steelers hostage the rest of the year holding this threat in front of them. If you are gonna do something, do it.

At the 0:12 mark in between the 40 and 45 a coach at the top of the screen running down the field on the outer part of the white line and may have even stepped on the field going around another coach on the white line. Now how much could the outcome in the superbowl could have changed if the Ravens were correctly penalized on the kick return for a touchdown?

The NFL should lose some integrity for this move. What so they are going to possibly change the Steelers draft depending on where they will be picking? What's preventing them from modifying or taking away a pick right now, if they do at all? So they're just going to hold it over their head and potentially screw them if they get some good draft position? Let alone the fact that the thought of taking away/modifying a draft pick is asinine.

The league's decision whether to not to alter their draft pick(s) will come down to if the Ravens miss the playoffs duo to strength of victories
So if the ravens loose a tiebreak because they have less points scored we get punished harder. Our draft pick is in the fate of the Ravens. That sounds pretty damn stupid, how often do tie breaks come down to strength of victories? And if the Ravens can't get into the Raven on their own will then they don't deserve to be there, are they really going to screw another team out of the players that earned their right to be there??
All of this suggests the league thought Jacoby Jones would have scored without Tomlin's foot on the field, which is not the case. Allen was quickly gaining on Jones before he even reached Tomlin.
