The Houston Rockets have traded PF Royce White to the Philadelphia 76ers for future Draft considerations in what is being called a salary cap move by the Rockets in order to clear his $1.7 Million salary for Dwight Howard.

Royce White won't even get on the plane to fly to Philly I bet you.I feel bad for him though,he's a decent player, but I think he hates that disorder he has

Jarret Jack has signed a 4yr, 25mil dollar deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
YES! YES! YES!
Cleveland needed someone in the second unit to do damage, and it can be said that Jack was the best FA PG not-named Chris Paul this offseason. And with Kyrie not being the most durable, this signing is even better. And he is making less than Calderon too! Say wha?
Here is the current Cavaliers roster:
PG: Kyrie Irving, Jarret Jack SG: Dion Waiters, CJ Miles, Sergey Karasev SF: Earl Clark, Alonzo Gee PF: Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett C: Anderson Varejao, Tyler Zeller
===
Personally, I want either Pekovic or Bynum to complete this team. I know the risk with Bynum, but I assume any contract with him would involve the team to walk away if injuries linger, a la Brandon Roy. Bynum is a top 3 Center when healthy, and would make Cleveland a legitimate threat.
If we go with Pekovic, we get the big body inside that Cleveland has needed, desperately for a while. He is great in the post and on the boards, and that is something we need with Kyrie and Dion controlling the perimeter.
Thoughts on what Cleveland should do next?

Excellent pickup for the Cavaliers. Jack is arguably the most underrated player in the NBA

Pistons roster as of now:
PG: Brandon Knight/Peyton Siva SG: Ken Caldwell-Pope/ Rodney Suckey/ Brandon Knight/ Kyle Singler/ Kim English SF: Josh Smith/ Kyle Singler/ Kris Middleton PF: Greg Monroe/ Josh Smith/ Jonas Jerekbo/ Charlie Villaneva/ Tony Mitchell C: Andre Drummond/ Greg Monroe/ Slava Kravsov
My thoughts: This team is stacked in the frontcourt with Smith, Monroe and Drummond. Smith is a good all around forward with a pretty decent outside shot and a good defensive game. He is a better PF than a SF however so he's signing kinda confused me. Monroe is a former center who was slid over to the 4 spot when the team drafted Drummond. Monroe is a good rebounder and works good around the basket but isn't much of a defender. Andre Drummond is a stud. It might be too early to say that but I will anyways. The Pistons got the steal of the draft last year when he fell to them. Good rebounder and a great blocker, his offensive game is almost the opposite of Monroe's. While Monroe can make a couple jumpers, Drummond should never be more than 5 foot away from the hoop when trying a shot. Look for different combinations of Smith, Monroe and Drummond on court during games. While the front court looks set, the backcourt is easily this teams weakness. Peyton Siva is the only true PG on this team. BK7 and Suckey were both drafted as PGs but haven't shown the knowledge and court vision to run the team from there. Both are better 2 guards. Drafting KCP was a head scratcher to me. With the team lacking a true PG I thought the last thing Dumars would draft is another freaking combo guard. How can you pass on Trey Burke? The national player of the year, the best player on a team that contended for a national championship for a guy who was the best player on a terrible team? The Pistons should have sprinted to the podium as soon as they realized Burke was available. Ugh... Instead of trying to fill the PG hole in the draft, the team is now looking to trade for a true PG or a better SG. They offered Suckey and Charlie Villinova to the Raptors for Rudy Gay. Not even an idiot would have accepted that. And they have called the Celtics to gauge their interest in trading for Rajon Rondo. The Celtics would probably ask for either Monroe and/or Drummond. I see no deal happening if it involves those two.
Opening day lineup: PG: Knight (Siva) SG: Singler (KCP)(Suckey)(English) SF: Smith (Middleton) PF: Monroe (Smith)(Jerekbo) C: Drummond (Monroe)(Kravsov)

We MAY challenge for a playoff spot this upcoming year. MAYBE. A lot of teams are gonna suck bad.
Kemba Henderson(if he signs) MKG McRoberts Jefferson
Should be ready to go for the 2014-2015 season for sure. First season back as the Hornets.

Some Pistons fans aren't happy about this but I am STOKED! SHHHEEEEEEEEEDDDDD has been hired as an assistant coach. (Let the technical foul jokes start) Sheed has always been one of my favorite Pistons and to see him coach Monroe, Drummond and Smith will be amazing. Josh Smith is an almost exact copy of Rasheed so who better to teach him than Sheed?
