Titans roster looks good now, but doesn't look scary They should have a top 15 defense now I don't think we've made a big improvement in the personnel on defense. I think we're going to play a smarter, more physical style though. Top 15 might be pushing it. on the roster they have the personnel enough to do so. they could do it. they should have done it last year, though

At one point this week, the Titans seemed a lock to sign John Abraham, who has already said he'd like to play for us. Apparently the devil is in the details. - He wants 60 snaps per game.
- He wants to be paid that much.
- The Titans want him to play rotationally, and give more time to the young guys.
- He only averaged 47 snaps per game last year.
I really hope they work it out, but I'm also nervous that they might over pay for him.

I think if Locker can get running more that opens up chances for CJ to exploit teams also. The addition of LeVitre and Warmack is awesome. My biggest concern with the Titans is always on Defence. Do we have a guy who can consistently get to QBs. I still think no which means QBs could have enough time to pick our average secondary apart....just like last year. If we can control the time better with utilising CJ, Greene and Lockers running skills then we keep teams off the field. So much depends on Locker this season. He needs better decision making, a slight improvement in % completions and to run more. As you can see from my post so much depends on locker being allowed to run, a la Kaepernick and Wilson. Look how effective those guys were last season. Keep teams guessing, keep teams O's off the field and control the time.
I don't see playoffs but 9-7 or 10-6 is doable. Alas I think Houston and Indy finish above us along with Miami, New England and Denver with possibly Kansas too. We shall see but we will be better than last season for sure.

njc71Remember when Vince Young ran the option with Chris Johnson every once in a while? I don't see why the don't run a triple option every once and a while just to mess people up. Playoffs aren't just possible, they're happening.
