Offense sells, people are too stupid to appreciate defense? This is the correct answer. It puts money in their pockets. People pay to see offensive games.

Which, when you have played (I have played many organized) or devoutly watch sports, you get irritated. Honestly, I would rather watch a hard fought 9-6 NFL game than a 31-27 explosion.

Depends on what kind of a 9-6 game. If it's truly a great defensive battle then sure (like PIT vs BAL)but if it's because the 2 teams have Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell and getting nowhere cuz they suck wellll I don't want to watch that.

Totally agree. That's why the Alabama LSU "game of the century" from a couple years back is one of the best games I've seen. 2 elite defenses going at it.

I find Blake Griffin an awful player. He dunks and rebounds (on an awful rebounding team), but should credit his "Stardom" to the AMAZING CP3. He is, if we went by the real meaning of MVP, the MVP of the league. Look at HOW much better he makes the players around him. I watch him play and I see a prime Jason Kidd (high praise since I call him the third best point TO ever play the game). I agree. No player means more to his team than CP3. Trey Burke is the next CP3, btw.

I disagree, wholeheartedly.
Burke is more Mike Conley than CP3, which isn't bad.

I am sticking with the Conley prediction. He will stick and be a solid starter.
He will win you some games, won't lose you many, and can hit a big shot when needed. Definitely not a terrible result for him.

Mike Conley, except more clutch and a better shooter.

Mike Conley, except more clutch and a better shooter. Conley was pretty clutch, in college. Conley has the edge in defense, both are about equal, in passing. Still the best comparison that I can think of.
