Preseason Week 1 – Redskins vs Bills
Things to Watch
Who is the No. 2 WR when the starters come onto the field? Will Donald Jones be playing slot while Marcus Easley is on the outside or vice versa? The best I believe is switch them up every once in a while keeping the No. 2 CB having to cover and bigger WR and a speed WR.
Is Aaron Williams starting? I hope so he is the best Corner on the Bills in my opinion and a follow up who is starting on the opposite of him, will McGee have to prove he’s starting worthy again? The best bet for the Bills is that Aaron Williams is across from McGee, McGee has more experience in this league and later in the year Gilmore should take his place so then here can be two 6 foot corners on the outside towing over Patriots players like Wes Welker.
Will the Bills plan of getting plenty of speedy linebackers and safeties to cover to tight ends going to work against to above-average TEs in Fred Davis and Chris Cooley? Two Tight End sets are the big thing this year after the Patriots success with it. The Bills got two linebackers in the draft one that was a former safety for the Bills last year, got Nick Saenz, and are having Jim Leonhard for a visit. I think they are ready for twin tight ends.
How will the front 7 play? Can Mario Williams free up the ends coming off the right side? Will Marcell Dareus and Kyle Williams shut down the middle of the O-Line? Most importantly, who will start on the right side? I think Chris Kelsay should start but rotate with Mark Anderson and Shawne Merriman. They are all good starters but never had an elite player on the other side of them or in the middle for that matter.
Questions to Ponder – Rookies
How will Stephon Gilmore contribute to the defense?
Will Cordy Glenn have the feet to start at Left Tackle?
Can T.J. Graham prove that he is worth of an early 3rd round pick?
Will Nigel Bradham be content with mostly playing on special teams?
Can Ron Brooks show that he shouldn’t been over looked at LSU because for the Tyrann Matheui and Morris Claiborne?
Will Zebrie Sanders provide as depth if he is needed the guard or tackle positions?
Can Tank Carder cover speedy tight ends in the NFL?
Can Mark Asper provide as depth in the interior O-Line?
Will John Potter just be used as a kickoff specialist or also for 50 yard plus field goals?
Questions to Ponder – Free Agents Will Vince Young even make the team and if he does could he step in if Fitzpatrick is playing subpar?
Will Mario Williams show that he was worth 100 Million and that he is right in choosing to line up against left tackles?
Can Mark Anderson be worth more than a ‘situational’ pass rusher?
Questions to Ponder – Returning Bills Players
Can Fitzpatrick be consistently good?
Will Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller be happy with splitting carries?
Can Stevie Johnson lower his antics?
Will Chris Kelsay make the team?
Will Dwan Edwards make the team?
Can Aaron Williams build off of his rookie year?
Other:
How will Robert Griffin III perform?

the big question the bills should look at in game 1 is how will the run defense play this game? they struggled with that a bit last year, but with the additions of anderson and williams, it will help them
and playing a redskins team where they dont have a clue whos gonna start at RB between hightower and helu is a good place to get a good start

Preseason Week 1 Versus Redskins
Bills first team offense were testing out their Wide Recievers, the ones who impressed me Donald Jones and T.J. Graham.
Cordy Glenn and Chris Hairston played outstandingly at the two tackle positions Hairston is going to provide great depth at either position.
Stephon Gilmore and Aaron Williams really impressed me this game they most likely will be starting.
The run defense was decent while the back-up secondary didn't play too well.
The person that has help themself the most to me is Derek Hagan.
The person that hurt themself the most to me is Terrence McGee, Leodis McKelvin might be the oldest corner at the beginning of the year at 26 years old.

Thanks for doing this. I as an old time AFL fan have always had a soft spot for the Bills. Except when they stole Jack Kemp from us for $100.00. I will be reading your stuff and will contribute if I have anything interesting. I don't get to watch them much.

Bills vs Steelers Preseason Week 3 Postgame Wrap-Up Result: 38 – 7 Steelers
14 – 7 Steelers for starters 24-0 Steelers for second and third team
Rundown
One division winning and wild-card team for a few years against a team hoping to see their first playoff game of this century. Positive Takeaways Front 4 is getting pressure without blitzing Fred Jackson is playing even better than last year Run defense is looking very good Linebacker core is well suited for coverage instead of blitzing which isn’t needed now
Negative Takeaways Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t completely ready for a good season. I and probably the Bills organizations are hoping Ryan Fitzpatrick never gets hurt (VY is pretty bad). 2nd Team and 3rd team defense aren’t playing like a team. Pass defense isn’t completely solid within back-ups. Offensive-Lines blocking is decent but can step it up.
