DE Dion Jordan, Oregon
===
Osi Umenyiora is a FA after this year, so the Giants can use a pass rusher. Jordan has Osi's speed and a better motor from what I have seen. Jordan is a little light for DE, but he can easily build some muscle, and then he would be a force alongside JPP. The plan here is to play Tuck at DT more, and employ more of a 5-2 set (Jordan, Tuck, Canty, Joseph, JPP - Kiwanuka, Boley). The Giants got their OL in Grubbs via trade, which is huge. So after one pick, the Giants have an elite guard and a freak DE who can be great off the edge in what the Giants do best.

With the 30th pick, the Chicago Bears select.. CJ Mosley OLB Alabama
==================================================
I really wanted a lineman here, but I didn't feel comfortable taking any of the players left at this spot. I don't believe they would be much of an upgrade. So I will take one of the best players left on the board who also fills a need. Urlacher and Briggs aren't getting any younger, so to start training up their successor's now while they are still here is a good idea. Also I believe Mosley will be an upgrade to Nick Roach.

With the 31st pick, the Houston Texans select Cordarrelle Patterson WR, Tennessee
============== The Texans have needed a legitimate option opposite Andre Johnson for quite some time now. Johnson is not getting any younger, and the only area Patterson needs work on is route running and learning from one of the best WRs in the game could do no harm. Besides the Route running, Patterson has the physical tools to develop into a Probowler one day. Also, the Texans find a legitimate KR/PR after losing Jacoby Jones and Trindon Holliday not working out. Everytime Patterson touches the ball, he is a dangerous legitimate threat to bring it to the house with his great field vision, cutting ability, juking ability, speed, and ability to reverse the field.

the bengals select.......SS Robert Lester Alabama
might be a bit of a reach, but i need to add a S to the team. the secondary is a complete mess, but the CB situation is bad because of injuries. kirkpatrick and hall are the future. reggie nelson will stay at one side at S, however guys like nate clements, chris crocker, and taylor mays are all trying the other side and all are FAILING. lester can start from day 1 and is a big upgrade.
i got te'o and now lester to improve my crappy defense
