Did anyone watch catching Odell last night? I thought it was coming on tonight, but it aired last night.

Getting into The Office... Pretty Good You'll end up disappointed I'm sure.. Sitcoms in general have been disappointing ever since I watched Friends. Nothing even compares.

Getting into The Office... Pretty Good You'll end up disappointed Seriously??! Why would he be disappointed? Because if we're talking about the American show, it's pretty solid throughout all 9 seasons. They're are some rough patches, but overall it delivers consistently.

I've had quite a lot of free time lately, and have taken to watching a few shows. Some I am re-watching (because sometimes I like to have shows going while I'm doing something else, so I like to watch something that doesn't require my full attention) and some I am watching for the first time. 1) Continuum (first 3 seasons available on U.S. Netflix). This is a Canadian show that I believe is on showcase. Deals with a cop from 2077 who gets pulled back in time to 2012 along with a group of terrorists bent on rewriting history. It's not the greatest show ever, as it is a little corny at times, but I really enjoyed it so far and am excited for the next season. Has anyone else seen this? Juggs You might enjoy some of the issues this show starts to deal with as it gets further along. There is a lot of discussion about the power the police hold, what they should do with that power and how it is mishandled in many cases. 2) Spartacus (all four seasons on Netflix). I've gotten through the first three seasons and it's fantastic. The main actor ended up getting cancer after season one, so season two is a prequel mini series that they made waiting for him to recover. He did not recover and ended up dying, so season three has a new actor playing the role of Spartacus. It takes some getting used to the new guy, but it is still very good. This show is extremely gory (like Tarantino gory) and there is a TON of sex and nudity. I don't think it's trying to edgy and sexy so much as its trying to portray Rome as it was, without the nudity taboos that exist in our world today. 3) Blue Mountain State (rewatching, all three seasons on Netflix). I love this show. It's hilarious and something fun to have on while I'm working on something else. I've watched it two or three times already, but it's a common go to when I don't know what to watch and want to laugh. It also constantly tears into the NCAA for the absurd treatment of players. If you haven't seen or heard of this, and you like football and "college party" type movies or shows, this is great. It was on Spike, so it's got loads of sexual references and as much "almost-nudity" as you can get without them being allowed to actually show anything, so if that bothers you, probably avoid this show. 4) Community (rewatching, on Canadian Netflix... Not sure about American). This is one of my two all time favourite shows. I have seen seasons 1-3 about 5 times now and season 4 a few. I don't think I've finished season 5 yet, and haven't seen any season 6. I decided to rewatch the whole thing so I could finally watch it in its entirety (thus far). In my opinion this is the best comedy show made in the past 10 years. 5) Arrested Development (rewatching, all on Netflix). This is my other favourite show. Have seen it all a few times and am watching it again. I didn't enjoy season 4 as much as the others, but it's still pretty hilarious. In my opinion this (mostly the first 3 seasons) is the best comedy show ever made prior to Community (yes, that includes Friends and Seinfeld). 6) Shameless (American Version). This one is going slow because I have to stream the episodes and I get annoyed of streaming sometimes and take breaks from it. I'm on the most recent season now, I think 5 or 6, and it's fantastic as well. Any recommendations for other shows I should check out. I'm coming to the end of most of these. Some shows on my radar are Vikings, Black Sails, Weeds... I also need to catch up on Once Upon a Time (sounds really weird after saying I want to watch shows about Vikings, Pirates and drug dealers). My favourite types of shows are either comedies (Community, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, HIMYM, Friends, The Office), historical/fantasy epics (Game of Thrones, Spartacus) or Sci-Fi (Firefly, Continuum, The 100).

I've seen continuum, and in my opinion, it's basically blue propaganda. I stopped watching pretty early in, only the first half season, so I can't speak for the rest of it.

It starts out that way but as it goes on it starts picking out flaws in the way things are done by the cops. The Liberate movement is not always seen as evil and they start to blur the line between what's considered good and bad.
