That said, Dwight Howard has completely RUINED his reputation by going through this whole fiasco with him being a brat about wanting to go to Brooklyn and only Brooklyn. The media coverage is going to be horrific if he gets traded to LA. I think he has risen to a Lebron-level villain right now and everyone knows how ESPN loves a villain. I think this is worse that the Lebron situation. At least Lebron was a free agent and had a right to choose where he wanted to play. Can you imagine if Joe Flacco(being in the final year of his contract, he is the best I can come up with now) got John Harbaugh fired and caused Ozzie Newsome to resign, then demanded he get traded to the Cardinals.

LAL would be getting the best of that deal, with ORL getting the worst. Vareajo isn't even close to as good as Howard, and Howard was basically ORL's whole offense! He was good for 20 points, 15 rebounds a night. You almost have to feel bad for ORL in the sense that Howard is such a great player, yet he is refusing to play for them.

How about this then: Who gets the biggest upgrade?
LAL : Bynum --> Howard
CLE: Varejao --> Bynum

orlando would be completely dumb to make that trade. they can get so much more for him Trade him now and get something or don't trade him and get nothing we he walks next year. Poor Orlando, first Shaq and now Howard. i still think they should trade him but i think they can get more for him from another team. that cant be the best offer out there

How about this then: Who gets the biggest upgrade? LAL : Bynum --> Howard CLE: Varejao --> Bynum CLE probably gets the bigger upgrade. Just don't think Bynum is good enough to really propel CLE to the playoffs, and certainly not a deep run. While Howard on LAL is scary.

i still think they should trade him but i think they can get more for him from another team. that cant be the best offer out there I get where you are coming from. It is a tricky situation because not every team wants him because they are afraid to give up to much and just loose him next year too. Exactly. That's been a sticking point in him going to the Lakers and Rockets over the past few weeks. But I believe he has said he would sign a long-term deal with the Lakers if traded there. Is that correct?

I think a lineup of Irving, Waiters, Gee, Thompson, and Bynum (with a bench of Gibson, Samuels, and Zeller) can be a top 8 team in the East.
You got MIA, BKN, NY, CHI, BOS, IND. Those 6 are guarantees. CLE would have to fight off PHI, MIL, and DET for the last 2 seeds, which is easily possible.
