Wow.. I can't believe it's already week 7. This year is going by too fast.

You all know about WVU by now. Geno Smith is the Heisman front runner as it stands right now, he and the WVU offense looks like it cannot be stopped. You'll probably find this hard to believe about Texas Tech, but before they got crushed by Oklahoma last Saturday, TTU had the #1 defense in the nation. It's because they hadn't played anybody with a good offense though. WVU will roll.

ND is coming off a 41-3 shellacking of Miami, and Stanford is coming off a very unconvincing win over Arizona. If you would have asked me the winner of this game after Stanford beat USC, I would have said Stanford in a heartbeat, but not anymore. Stanford just isn't looking that good, and ND seems to be improving every week.
Stanford 17 - 28 Notre Dame

This game is interesting. USC is not looking like the team they were supposed to be this year. They have been winning (except for Stanford), but struggling to get the wins. Washington is looking decent this year. They upset Stanford, but that's the only game that jumps out at you about them so far this year. I still feel UW is a pretty good team though. I think UW actually has a shot at winning this game, but I don't think it happens so I'm not calling the upset. I think they give USC a hell of a fight though.
USC 35 - 27 Washington

The Red River Rivalry!! One of the best rivalry games in all of CFB. Oklahoma, once again, isn't living up to their preseason hype, but by no means are they a bad team. I still expect them to reach 10 wins this year, which by no means is a bad season. Their only loss is to Kansas State, but KState is looking like the real deal so that isn't a bad loss. Texas, like Oklahoma, isn't living up to their preseason hype either. The Texas D was supposed to be one of the best in the nation, and they have the talent to be, but they are not playing like they are one of the best at all. However their offense, specifically QB David Ash is playing great. Don't think he can play good enough to carry Texas against Oklahoma though.
Oklahoma 31 - 24 Texas

Man, Tennessee is dissappointing again. This was supposed to be the year UT finally gets it together and becomes relevant again. That didn't happen though, I think the problem is just Dooley is a terrible coach. Of course Tennessee still has Tyler Bray, but he shuts down in big time games, which is why I think he's kind of overrated now. Justin Hunter is a big time player, but he'll be going up against Johnathan Banks who is the real deal at CB. That'll be tough for Hunter. Mississippi State is still undefeated, they look good on both sides of the ball. They haven't played a good team yet, but they look good nonetheless. If you guys haven't seen Mississippi State play this year yet, I'd recommend it because I really like their QB Tyler Russell. He's very mobile and accurate. Not sure if he is NFL caliber but he is a great college QB. I don't see Tennessee winning this honestly.
Tennessee 21 - 31 Mississippi State

South Carolina is coming off a very very very good performance against a Georgia team who may have been overrated, but they are still a good team. SCar impressed the whole country by beating Georgia that bad. Marcus Lattimore is the best back in the nation, Connor Shaw is one tough customer who plays his tail off every game, and SCar's defense is just flat out scary. LSU is coming off a loss against Florida in the swamp where their defense played great, but they could not get any offense going whatsoever. I still believe LSU is a very good team though. I think LSU's DL is the best in the country, and their LB corps and DB's are definitely no slouches either. Reason I'm picking this upset is because I believe Florida's secondary > SCar's secondary, resulting in a better day for Zach Mettenberger, and I think LSU's front 7 can stop Lattimore from running wild. Also believe Florida's QB Jeff Driskel is a lot better than SCar QB Connor Shaw, I think LSU can shut him down and make SCar one dimensional. Plus LSU has HFA which definitely does not hurt. I think SCar could very well win this game, but I think LSU will rebound this week.
South Carolina 13 - 20 LSU
