Coming off of their BYE Week, the Steelers were in need of a major surge in the running game, averaging a meager 65 yards per game on the ground which was 31st in the NFL. The Steelers had a total of 136 Yards Rushing against the Eagles with Mendenhall gaining 81 yards and a TD. He could have had over 100 yards if not for an illegal formation penalty by Wallace that erased a 24 yard gain by Mendenhall.
On Defense, ILB Lawrence Timmons was the standout star having 8 tackles with a Forced Fumble. Aside from the stats, Timmons was in Vick's face all day, forcing him out of the pocket and creating sacks for his teammates. He was also key in holding LeSean McCoy to only 53 yards Rushing.

I took a chance at starting Mendenhall this week. Didn't expect him to do much in his first game coming off the injury, but I'm glad it paid off.
