The Steelers hobbled RB crew has amassed less than 200 total rush yards through 3 games--their worst start rushing the ball in 62 years. Mendy--surprisingly--was active for game 3 but didn't get any touches. Various reports have said he is "running fast" and "cutting well" in practice. I assume he's gonna see his first carry of the season come week 5-at home against PHI. Supposedly, Haley was looking to run the ball more this year. Will Mendy's return finally give more balance to the Steelers offense? Will they stick with the RB-by-committee approach and shuffle in Dwyer/Redman alongside Mendenhall? Inquiring minds want to know....

Depends.
The problem has been the run blocking hasn't been great and it has our RBs not trusting them. So when there actually is a hole the RBs are either not hitting it fast enough or bouncing it to the outside anyways.
Mendenhall use to "dance" in the backfield instead of just taking what was given to him before. But when he does break one it usually goes for a good chunk of yards thanks to his speed and elusiveness. I'd love to see him get some passes thrown to him out of the backfield. I just hope Tomlin doesn't put Dwyer in the dog house for his fumble, so far he has looked like our most promising back.
