My list I doubt more then 15% make it in reality lol This to everyone that asked lol, I was just offering alternatives to CoC's great list. My list is the also runs. As for Seymour, he might, but he wont go in as a Raider. He'd only go in as a Patriot. Yes, but the thread asks for a likely HOFer currently on each team. We should make lists that include likely HOFers on the teams that they "made their names" with. Like Seymour - Pats, Manning - Colts. Etc.

I would be devastated to see Eli get in despite piss-poor seasons with the exception of 2 or 3. Prepare to be devastated. Every QB that has won 2 rings and had a constant, consistent, good career has gotten in. Jim Plunket isn't in because he was so bad he was out of football for like 2 years before the Raiders picked him up and he won his 2.

I don't think players who haven't been in over 10 years should even be considered right now. And I don't think Calvin is detroits best bet for the HOF I'd put Hanson instead. He's played on horrible Lions teams his whole career and I think he is the clear cut best player to suit up for the Lions. Sorry Barry.

We should be looking at it like if this player retired right now would they get in. Then make your list based on that thinking

If you say "retired right now, who would get in" most the teams wouldn't even have a HOFer to put...a lot of them don't have a legitimate HOF choice at all, much less looking at it the way you are. we're saying who we think is the MOST LIKELY to get in from each team. doesnt matter if they've played 1 year or 15. Just because Hanson has played a lot longer doesn't mean he's more likely than Megatron...

If you said retired right now, NO WR would make it in. Carter, Brown, and Reed are all trying to get in, and none have, mostly due to each other taking the votes from another. And It is a very special honor to get into the HoF, there aren't to many current players who are a lock to even be nominated, much less get in. Brady, Manning, Fletcher, Lewis, Lechler, Polamalu, and Hutchinson are the only ones I'm over 80% confident that make it. Woodson is more of an outside shot just because what corners typically have to do to get in. Switching his position might help, but he needs to excel at it now.

I would have listed Ed Reed as well, but right now him and Troy will be battling for votes. I think Troy wins the ballot first.

Reed could easily retire after this year(admitted he considered it after last season). Troy has easily two years left in him.

Yeah Reed is going to retire this year or next, but my issue is when he comes out he would be in competition with John Lynch (Unless Lynch makes it in before Reed is eligible)
