Some issues:
It seems Bruce Arians doesn't trust in Andrew Luck. If the passing game is working, why go to run when the passing game is working? Sure, there was times that the running game worked a few times, but they can't go to run and depend on that poor run blocking offensive line.
This defense is nowhere near clutch. Choked in the 4th quarter in the last two games. Against the Vikings, they won because of Adam Vinatieri. In this game, we can say part of the blame goes to him because of that delay of game and to the defense. Had Vinatieri made both FGs, the game would have been 16-20. If Gabbert had this TD it would be 23-20. But when the Colts had the ball, they managed to move it to FG range and they would have a chance to send it to overtime. In the offense, Luck is clutch, Bruce Arians isn't.
Austin Collie's time with the Colts is running short. Collie is one of my favorite Colts players because he is one of the best players on that team when healthy. But he had an injury in his first reception of the game, this time a knee injury. The Colts spelled a possible release of Austin Collie by signing undrafted WR Nathan Palmer, previously in the 49ers' practice squad.
Edit: Collie has been placed on injured reserve
Top 5 Colts Players:
5.Dwayne Allen: Allen beat starting TE Coby Fleener in this game, and after putting no receptions in week 1 and just one reception last week (which went for a TD), Allen put a good performance this time around
4.Robert Mathis: Easily the best player in the defense, Mathis has 6th consecutive games with a sack
3.Reggie Wayne: The best receiver in the offense, Wayne has a streak of 5 games with at least 6 receptions. Very utilized player by Luck
2.T.Y. Hilton: A good deep threat, Hilton could penetrate on the downfield wide open
1.Andrew Luck: A great passer, too bad he's surronded by a bad coach (cough cough Bruce Arians, cough). Now I wonder how great Luck could be if Arians wasn't on that team. No wonder why the best GM in my opinion, Kevin Colbert, fired him, and look at the season Roethlisberger is having.
Player that played bad for the Colts:
Notice that I wrote "player", not "players". The defensive line found their way later in the game at run stopping, when Maurice Jones-Drew couldn't run with ball effectively, so I think I can blame just one player...
Sergio Brown: One mistake kills. A crucial mistake on the Jaguars' first play. Cecil Shorts burned Sergio Brown to win the game. Brown was covering Shorts, and Shorts created an unbelievable separation from Brown when Shorts catched the ball.
Next week it's a bye for the Colts, when they face the Packers. Joe Reitz and Dwight Freeney might be back to play in that week. A perfect time for a bye
