For a long time I was hearing about fantasy, fantasy teams, etc. I had my first fantasy experience in the middle of the 2011 season at NFL Rush but I don't frequent their fantasy game anymore; I played the nfl.com fantasy game in the playoffs, and technically it was me against the whole fantasy players, since I had no friends to play fantasy with But now I found friends that I could play with. And next year I could join a league because I seek a Brett Favre return after one season retired (that is more of a Randy Moss return lol) in fantasy world. I didn't have much fun playing with people I don't know, next time (which I believe it will be next year) I might play with people I already know, but only if I get into someone's league in here... So, I would want to return to fantasy football next year and play with the people in here, with anyone that would accept me with arms wide open

I'm down. I've kind of run into the same deal as well. started playing on NFL.com a couple of years ago, skipped a year, and started back last year... but playing against a bunch of random people does take a little bit away from it. Especially when you join a league and the majority of guys abandon their team and you only end up with about 3 or 4 guys actively involved in the league.
Last year was the worst for me. I had one team go undefeated in the regular season. 14-0, first round bye, and was able to make it to the championship game. First time since I started playing fantasy that I had a chance to finish the entire season without a loss. The team I was playing against went 9-5 in the regular season and was able to squeak by the first 2 rounds of the playoff before facing me in the title game. Then... he beats me. But what made it worse, the owner hadn't even logged into the league since week 2. No activity whatsoever... no adds, drops, trades, lineup changes, nothing. I got beat by a team that was abandoned.
It was pretty much the fantasy equivalent of the Giants beating the undefeated Patriots in the Superbowl... only in this case, the Giants did it all without a coach.

Mitch, I would love to have you in one of our leagues. I have 2 of my own which I'm not anticipating any turnover, but possible. But am co-LM of a pretty wild (but somewhat balanced) settings league (Neil's) with mostly guys from here, but we cut to 10 from 12 cuz Neil (Brit) was outta town most of Aug, and might like to expand it. Not sure how that works with keepers. It's also IDPs PPR, and return yds, not for beginners.

I would like to start in an nfl.com league ran by someone in here, but I think I could get along in any league ran by someone in here

I am currently playing with people from the forums and a few more - six on NFL.com (reached my limit), plus two on ESPN.com. From all of the places I've been, no other site can beat NFL.com for all of their features.
It's bengalmania2, 101mitch, cityofchamps, diehard2200, jindred, cbagin and nflfootball11 from the ones I know, plus bleedblackngold625 and forceindia, both of whom I don't get to see posting very often - and myself. In my opinion, teams are balanced and we have good competition there. It's better and funner when you play with someone you "know".
After a decent couple of weeks, I'm having my ass kicked by 101mitch badly this week, but that's a part of the competition.
I am willing to try more IDP leagues (I'm playing just one this season, ran by a random guy from NFL.com who somehow found me and invited me to join) and at least one auction league next season. I'm up for the challenge.

@hebert
One of the teams in our league is another team owned by CoC cause we never did find another player to join. We all agreed it was best.
