Can't see the Dolphins passing on Werner for Rhodes. CB is very deep this year and they can likely grab someone good in the second round. Where as I don't believe they can get a high caliber DE in the second round. I'd Switch Werner and Rhodes. There is no way St. Louis passed up on Chance Warmack for Keenan Allen they have ok receiver's especially if they keep Amendola, where as their O-line is shit! Steelers have far bigger needs than WR.. I can't see them passing up on guys like Richardson or Jarvis Jones for Austin.. Its just not THAT big of a need. Other than that I don't disagree with much else. Good point on the Dolphins. Eh... Amendola is really injury prone, and I don't think Chris Givins or Brandon Gibson are good enough to be a #1 WR. Their OL isn't terrible. It leaves something to be desired, but it isn't shit. They were top 15 in least sacks allowed and were pretty decent in run protection as well. I don't think Richardson fits PIT's system, he's a 4-3 guy. I think WR is a bigger need than OLB.

I don't think Richardson fits PIT's system, he's a 4-3 guy. I think WR is a bigger need than OLB. I agree that none of their WR's are exactly #1 guys.. BUT they would look a hell of a lot better if Bradford had more time in the pocket. Bradford saved many sacks by getting throws off at the last second. In offensive line rankings they are ranked 26th in the league. www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/01/28/ranking-the-2012-offensive-lines/Bradford was hurried and hit far more than just sacks show. Their run blocking may not have been horrible but I wouldn't call it good. Steven Jackson has made that line look better than it has been for years! This is something they NEED to fix. WR Class again is very deep! They can grab a guy like Da'Rick Rodgers who IMO is going to be the best WR in this class in the second round.. But passing up on a talent like Warmack in the first round would be a huge mistake on their part! WR is a need but LB is a bigger one IMO with Harrison aging, injury prone and likely to be released! Their offense ins't in a bad spot right now, they have lots of youth on that side of the ball.. I see their defense in a bad spot if they don't start replacing guys now! Also I question Austin as the guy they would take.. They already have two fast WR's under 6ft tall.. I don't see another being a smart option. Especially when he has a similar skill set to Brown. Bigger physical guy would make more sense. I don't disagree with this pick entirely I just think there are far better options out there. Also as far as Richardson you may be right on that one, I thought he was a NT!

If they do go ILB, they would probably take someone like Arthur Brown over Minter. I know you like the latter but you have to admit that his lack of range would be more apparent, especially in a 4-3 defense. The younger guys they have been bringing in (Jac Williams, Paysinger, etc) have all had better range for coverage than being classic run stuffers. I'm not opposed to the position but it would have to be the right guy.
