This is overall, below is for the Saints game.
Coaching: D+ Still been garbage. Crennel hasn't gotten us prepared for anything other than this game. I am hoping he can improve though.
Offense: B- Still disappointed by Cassel. But other than that this offense looks pretty good. Look for even more improvement next week.
Defense: C+ Major improvement last week. We were still terrible weeks 1 and 2. I hope we can forget about those weeks, and play like week 3.
Special Teams: A+ Only bright spot on this team. Arenas is a good returner, and we are doing a decent job in coverage. Succop is great.
Major improvement on all fields of the game. We played very good against the Saints. But we are still a 1-2 team.
EDIT: Above is overall, this is for just Saints game.
Coaching: C Are coaching still wasn't very good. Taking a TO on a fourth and four when we are losing and could have needed that TO later sucks. And not even trying to win in regulation just taking short runs made me mad. But this game was a slight improvement.
Offense: A Jamaal Charles alone had more yards than the saints. Our running game was awesome. Hillis still looks terrible, but Draughn is making up for it. Bowe looked great, and Mccluster was good while he was in. Baldwin improved. Cassel is still terrible. But he whould improve as the season goes on.
Defense: A+++++ Much improved. Houston got three sacks and a safety. Hali got pressure. Derrick Johnson got a sack. Hali is still disappointing, but teams are dialing in on him more. Flowers looked good. Berry played with heart and passion. Routt's INT was really a turning point in the game IMHO.
Special Teams: A++ Great again. Jalil Brown with the diving throwback pass on the punt to down it on the 2 was awesome. We held Darren Sproles to only two yards on punt returns. I am very impressed with this group. I also can't forget Succop. 6/6 on FG's. He was awesome. Colquitt was good punting, and we had good punt returns.
Next comes San Diego. If we can take them out us, SD, and the winner of the Oakland Denver game will be tied for first.
