Colts, Andrew Luck and Chuck Pagano get their first win of the regular season
Some issues:
What happened to the defense in the fourth quarter? The defense went horrible in the fourth quarter, in the third is was very good once they forced Christian Ponder to go to pass more often because of the Jerrell Freeman forced fumble, but Adrian Peterson was running over them, but that defense that made Christian Ponder throw just 8 incompletions must get better
Chuck Pagano and Bruce Arians, why so conservative? In the 4th quarter, the running game wasn't working anymore. That was where they should have went to pass, since it was working very well, it almost killed the Colts along with the horrible 4th quarter defense, they were leading 20-6 to lead the game at 23-20 thanks to Adam Vinatieri
Top 5 players for the Colts:
5.Donnie Avery, 9 catches, 111 yards: Avery is playing very well in Austin Collie's place, it seems Avery can create the bigger impact now, since Avery is playing much like Collie; but Avery is faster
4.Jerrell Freeman: 13 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble: Freeman is playing very well like at his days in the CFL, Freeman might be the best inside linebacker in that team because he can cover better than the other linebackers
3.Reggie Wayne: 6 catches, 71 yards, 1 TD: Wayne is still the dominating receiver on that team, he is 33 but he can still make the hard catch
2.Adam Vinatieri: Vinatieri is still clutch, as he kicked a 53-yard field goal to win the game
1.Andrew Luck: Good game by him, where the offensiv line performed well at times, the other ones whom would have been a sack, Andrew Luck escaped with his athleticism, he did a hell of a job in escaping a sack in the endzone
Players that played horrible for the Colts:
Vontae Davis: What happened to Vontae Davis? He is allowing a lot of catches, as the receivers he has been faced has made a total of 21 catches for 223 yards and a TD. Hell, one of the worst cornerbacks last year (Jerraud Powers) is nowhere near Davis, as Powers has made some real nice deflections
Justin King: I didn't know much about Justin King when the Colts signed him, then I was hearing some stories that King was awful. Now that I can watch him, he is indeed awful. King is horrible in man coverage, and he can't cover the receiver unless he does some interference on the receiver, as he made a interferences in the week 1 game and a holding on this week 2 game. But this Colts' defense is bad, so any kind of mistake can lead to a touchdown
Antonio Johnson: 0 tackles in 2 games. I think that's all I need to say about how Pro-Bowl quality he is. When Josh Chapman returns from injury, Johnson should be replaced as soon as possible
Fili Moala: Read Antonio Johnson, although Moala had an assist. But Drake Nevis who isn't even the starting defensive end, had 3 tackles, so why the hell is Moala starting?
