Main keys to why the Colts lost:
Bad coverage: Covering Brandon Marshall is a hell of a hard task. Vontae Davis is a good cover corner, but in one way or another, Marshall will always be open. Even Darrelle Revis had trouble covering Marshall last year, with Cutler and Marshall on the same team, they will cause nightmares to defensive coordiantors.
Bad pass blocking: I think Andrew Luck ran that entire field 3 times of just escaping the pocket on that game. LG Joe Reitz and RT Winston Justice were injured, so Seth Olsen and Jeff Linkenbach had to replace them, respectively. But the problem is, Olsen and Linkenbach sucks. So Luck had to run for his life in 99% of the time in pasing plays.
Bad run defense: That defensive line must do a better job in pushing offensive linemen. Who are the Colts' defensive linemen? Cory Redding (good player), Antonio Johnson (whoa) and Fili Moala (WHOA!). So we won't see any defensive push anytime soon. So run defense remains a problem.
Top 5 Colts Players:
5.Coby Fleener: One of the Colts' few reliable receivers in the game, Fleener had a very good performance.
4.Donald Brown: Had trouble at times running the ball, but in the red zone he was effective and had a TD.
3.Jerrell Freeman: Had 5 tackles and intercepted a pass on the first drive of the game, resulting in a pick 6.
2.Robert Mathis: 5 tackles and 2 sacks, one of the few players that were putting pressure on Cutler.
1.Reggie Wayne: Wayne made tough catches, had 135 yards, had 9 receptions, very important player on the offense.
Top 5 Bears Players:
5.Matt Forte: Forte was expected to have a great game, the Colts' defensive line can't get any push.
4.Jay Cutler: Struggled early in the game, had a pick 6 in the first drive, but he was able to turn the table later.
3.Henry Melton: Melton is a great interior rusher, had 5 tackles and two sacks, the Colts' interior offensive line was a liability, so Melton would have an easy game
2.Tim Jennings: Did a good job on the interceptions.
1.Brandon Marshall: Marshall will have more than 100 receptions in this season, book it. Marshall will have a great season with a better QB.
