Final Score: Lions 27, Rams 23
Seriously. That was a hell of a game. Sloppy as hell, but still a good game. Who would've thought STL would have the lead until 14 seconds left in the game. Hugely bad ending for STL but everybody I knew said STL would be down by a LOT more. So while it is a tough loss, it's also an encouraging and good sign for the Rams.
The Lions, Matthew Stafford in particular, looked terrible. Stafford honestly should've had 5 interceptions on the day; two of them were dropped. I don't know if there was something wrong with him but he was absolutely terrible. Brandon Weeden with 4 interceptions and Tannehill with 3 are expected- But Stafford? I think the credit goes partial to Stafford and partial to the STL defense.
What Did I learn?
Stl Rams:
They have a shitty offensive line. Steven Jackson was getting stopped behind the line of scrimmage constantly. Bradford got sacked a few times. It was pathetic. We only had ONE offensive touchdown...
Also, they stacked the box the whole game against Jackson. I was getting kind of pissed because that's all they were doing. I cannot wait until we get a huge threat. On that note, Amendola had a solid game and is definetly our best receiver.
However, the defense looks legit. I think after that game we are a lock at top 15 defense for sure. 3 interceptions and holding the Lions to only 27 is damn good for the 1st game of the season. Detroit gets 30+ points all the time.
I say STL goes from 29 in the powerrankings to around 25 to 23. That was a solid performance and they deserve to go up.
Detroit should go down to around 14 in my opinion. That was not a good game for them.

Gonna reserve my opinion till I can actually watch a game.
I have faith in Stafford however. The guy is a manly manly boss and he will be playing like a super boss this season.
