Week 10 promised Chaos. Week 10 delivered Chaos. Everyone picked the Chargers. Everyone picked wrong. Almost everyone picked the Falcons. Almost everyone picked the Packers. Almost everyone picked the Buccaneers. Thank goodness for the Buccaneers then.
cvr*** rebounded from the disappointment in Week 9 with a strong performance. 127 points was 2nd in the Weekly competition going into the Sunday Night game and with Rho*** adding only 60 points to his 54 point lead we had a NEW leader in the overall competition!
Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. With 2 losses in the Night games that 13 point lead wasn't enough and with Rho*** gaining 16 points from the Giants victory over the Bengals, we have a NEW leader!
Once again Flo*** went into Sunday Night as the leader in the Weekly competition but once again came unstuck as the Seahawks held off the Patriots. However, no-one in the chasing pack picked the Seahawks and with a winning pick on Monday Night Flo*** becomes the 8th different Weekly Winner this season. Flo*** was 1 of only 2 people to pick the Eagles. The other was TonOdanK, for whom everything else went wrong. 42 points and last place was cruel after climbing the leaderboard in the last 2 weeks. Commiserations to all those suffering the cruel hands of fate this week.
2 of the leading players didn't post picks this week so unfortunately they drop down the leaderboard. No worries, it's only a Pick'em and more important things get in the way. Hopefully both players will continue to play along and i'll post a separate leaderboard based on % of contested points won.

Last week I said 'Over the last 3 year the best strategy in the final 8 weeks of the season has been to picks road teams with picking underdogs a good 2nd choice. It will be interesting to see if that holds true in this roller-coaster season.' I wish I had followed that advice as Road teams regained the advantage over Home teams and Underdogs knocked it out of the park.
Congratulations to Week 10 Prize winner @flo***. Congratulations to @rho*** who lost then regained his overall lead. He takes a 3 points advantage into Week 11 with 4 competitors breathing down his neck. There are 4 other competitors all poised to strike if they can hit on a near perfect week. I'll be back later with the Week 11 handicaps and points scoring options.
