I'm all for this. We can always start a new forum entirely and keep our originals in case shit doesn't work out. Don't see why it wouldn't work out though, unless they have differing political and religious views from Saska lol

You say hurtful things. Don't lash out because Peyton Manning isn't a top 5 all time player. I will be for you merging if you admit you secretly love Canada. I don't think I could do this Jindred. If only Canada didn't support sports like sweeping ice...

Hey guys
It'll take a while for both sides to get used to each other but that's how it is for everything. idk if we can exactly merge. so maybe we can create a new site or just do a total swap to our place. we can't move here because your main admins are AWOL. we had the same problem a few years ago, so we changed to our current MB with active admins/mods.
we'll figure something out. you guys seem awesome.

Peyton Manning is overrated Everyone but Morkim should merge... Divebitch likes this. And let's not forget about Patsky. j/k j/k, I love the idea of new blood and growing. Making a new forum all together seems like the simplest idea overall as long as everyone is up for singing up for it. We would have to deside who would create it and moderate it of course but that's all details. With Panther and Plax not around, MarchingOn is our chief moderator and I don't believe he has the power to merge forums. See if this ^^^^ works - copied from PM quote. So MarchingOn can't make this happen, and Jancey can? Anyone guess the logistics? Voted 'not sure yet'. Wanna check it out more. No doubt they're decent people, like here and everywhere. So I'm cautiously optimistic, leaning towards 'if all looks good, then fer sure'. Jin, I'd agree a new forum might be in order. We'd have to be really careful on who creates it. It's a longterm commitment that affects many people. Another issue is whether or not we can save our data history. Might not be a dealbreaker IDK, not for me to say. And it would have to be at least as football friendly as it is now. nas We like the Gen Disc to be a busy place too. But subforums make it easier (sometimes) to find stuff, and not have it buried too quickly. It's not an issue now cuz there's no football and active membership has dwindled. I have at least 3 or 4 members on yet another tiny PB forum that were active here before, and would probably like to join a new one with new mods and admin. nas How long has your forum existed? How/why was it formed, and how did you find us? Long history for many of us here. without getting into details, this was a private forum, born of NFL.com forum regulars. When they shut down suddenly, I knew it would be a slow death here. So a merge could be a real blessing.

In 2011 when ESPN changed their forums about 300-400 people joined PSR. It was an awesome forum but the admin was gone so we couldn't make mods and there were technical difficulties. Over the last 5 years we've lost people over the years. At least a few hundred. We have had migrations from other places but non very big since the ESPN one. Board is basically half sports and half off topic stuff. Very relaxed. But there is drama sometimes. Which I find entertaining. The PSR we have now has active mods and an admin who is a great guy that we all trust. He is awesome. Rules are loose. Just don't post people's personal info and stuff. My suggestion is that we change the sections of PSR so everything isn't lumped together like it pretty much is now Sports discussion forum Non sports talk Politics + Religion Suggestion board Gaming/Entertainment

Sounds great that many of you made a successful go of a new forum. Like I said, we'd need a lot more robust categories WRT sports, particularly football. That would be no skin off anyone's ass that doesn't care. But IMO, that's a must. For now, I'll go over and take at better look at PSR. *EDIT*: You still didn't say how you found us, but I probably speak for all to say I'm glad you did. I had you pegged as a butt guy. I appreciate a nice butt as much as the next guy. But boobs or GTFO IMO. It doesn't bother you at all that he pegged you as either one?

We've had our forum basically all in the general discussion section the whole time. We could split sports/non sports and of course have politics/religion/NSFW categories but not sure beyond that. we'll talk it over until everyone feels good.

I mean, I know I was all for the boobs. But I could have learned to deal.

nas look at all our boards and subboards. Your forum has very, very few. I think the way we're organized works well, and a similar setup I think would be beneficial wherever we go.
