Padres win, Padres win!. They scored finally. Thirteen runs. Okay its in Colorado. The Dodgers lost. They (manager Dave Roberts) took out the pitcher in the seventh with a no hitter going. hahaha.

DeGrom left the game after 76 pitches...theyre saying a sore lat? But also his wife is ready to give birth any minute...really hope hes not DL bound. David Wright is 1-13 at the plate so far, granderson and Cespedes aren't doing much better. Our top three hitter are in a slump..Conforto hitting .450 and 2nd in the league in RBI's ... Coc's fav pitcher Colon on the mound today.

So after setting two MLB ALL TIME records for futility to start a season. The Padres score 29 runs in two games to maybe set another record. 29 RUNS! Were going to the super bowl. err whatever.

Just last week, I made my predictions and said the Reds would be the worst team this season. Right now, the Reds are 3-0. Yes they played the Phillies, so maybe it doesn't matter. They get the Pirates, Cubs, and Cardinals in there next 3 match ups coming up. How they preform against those teams will show if the Reds are a fluke or not. Early season MLB doesn't mean much.. not to dash your hopes or anything but normally the team you see the first half of the season is a very different one down the stretch. I've learned as a Jays fan not to get your hopes up until you are at least nearing the all star break. It's a long season. All I know is, the Reds were given 0 chance this year to even be slightly good, so if they can surprise people like they are doing now, then obviously i'm going to be excited. Is it too early to me to be excited? Maybe. But you can make the same argument to say its too early to say the season is over.

Also, the Reds are 5-1 now, just beating a Pirates team that swept the Cardinals just a few days ago. Hmmm, what does it mean?

I'm just saying don't get your hopes up. As a Blue Jays fan I've seen us start a season with 10 straight wins, to be almost eliminated by the all star break. The Reds could be good. I just recommend tapering expectations.

Officially starting to perspire a bit about NY's inability to hit the ball...hard to watch. Also young Steven Matz gives up 7 runs in the second right after striking out Giancarlo Stanton!!!
