bleacherreport.com/articles/2594473-navy-football-to-feature-position-specific-navy-fleet-helmets-for-army-gameHas anyone seen this? This is a brilliant idea, IMO. The Navy college football program has decided to wear "Navy Fleet" helmets. Meaning that each ship in a Navy fleet will be worn on the helmet of a specific position group. Meaning Quarterbacks, Runningbacks, Wide Receivers, Linemen, Defensive Backs, etc, will wear a different ship on the side of their helmets. Click the link to see the pictures of the helmets (yes, BR deserves the click bait I am giving them for once).

Gorgeous idea, yes. But ya gotta wonder how much it costs, outta whose budget, and how better that $ could've been used. If this doesn't cost much more than say, a Browns helmet, then nevermind. lol It's really nice and meaningful that they are position-specific. Just wonder if it'll even be noticed or appreciated by their following.
