What are they, whoever they are, going to do? Frame you for a crime? The real problem with technology isn't the people holding all the information. It's the generation of people who don't give two shits about the consequences of their actions or think anything through. Craig's story about the GPS? Yeah, they track where you go. It can find patterns. You know who's fault this is? Yours for clicking the little "allow to use my location" button. Right now technology can pretty much get any info they want, but only if you let them. The problem is so many folks just freely giving up their privacy and information for some convienance then crying wolf when/if it bites them in the ass.

I guess you have to unclick it.

I guess you have to unclick it. Not sure what kind of phone you have, but on Apple there's a little screen that pops up that says "allow XXX to use current location?" For a ton of crap. Google maps included. Most people probably click okay without thinking. Now I don't know what you click or don't on any other phone. I was talking about Apple because that's the phone I have and the one this thread is about. But I'm confident that there is an opt out somewhere Craig. Go unclick it

I'm not worried about it. But you might be right that I may have okayed that. I have an I Phone 5. I don't hardly use it for anything but phone, text, and that's it. I don't have thumb print. If someone steels my identity they will be highly dissapointed. All my chit is buried in the back yard next to the bomb shelter.

Most of the time when you're talking about someone's identify being stolen you don't worry about their cash assets. Bigger issue for a guy like you would be if they took a credit card out in your name and tanked your credit score.

They can take out a credit card in my name and itS all protected. the key for you younger guys is to do the best you can and all will be fine.

I agree with that completely, by I still think a finger print is valuable. Haven't you seen the dark knight rises?
