Actually not. Dorsett has the better QB for the long run. Most probably. Although nothing is certain. But he's not a talent like Cooper. And cooper is a lot like AJ Green his first couple years. No competition for targets. And homer picks are fun. It's no big thing. That's certain. But it doesn't mean Cooper might have a better season. Everyone would say T.Y. Hilton wasn't the talent Cooper is, and look how Hilton is producing. When Andre Johnson leaves the Colts and Dorsett produces, like, 60 or 70 catches for 1000 yards, it's a very good deal. My guess is that Cooper does the same or a little bit less.

So what you're saying is that maybe, in multiple years from now, Dorsett will produce as well as Cooper? I'm actually going to challenge you that Dorsett is in the better QB situation. Obviously Luck is a better player than Derek Carr, but fantasy wise, Cooper is in the better situation. Luck attempts: 616 Carr attempts: 599, and that's missing 3 quarters of week 1. The point? They basically threw the same amount of passes last season, and Luck's are going to be spread out over basically 5 major targets: TY, Andre Johnson, Dorsett, Moncrief and whichever tight end is in on the play, either Fleener or Allen. After Cooper... the Raiders have Michael Crabtree, Mychal Rivera and Kenbrell Thomkins, aka nothing. Carr and Luck threw the same amount of passes last season, and Luck's are more likely to go down than Carr's since the Colts just added a power runner in Frank Gore. The bottom line is that a considerably higher number of targets are going to Cooper because of what team he plays for than Dorsett. Factor in the fact that he's a much better WR than Dorsett (which leads to more touches), and you've got a no-brainer. Andy Luck may be the better QB on paper, but Oakland is a much more promising situation than Indy this year for a rookie WR. Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL, but a WR going to his team would have much lower stock since they're behind Cobb, Nelson and Davante Adams.

And the Packers example also go against your point. They have Nelson and Cobb, Eddie Lacy and they still have very good stats. And Adams saw the field occasionally and he was good at it. Cooper will be the better receiver this year (or career-wise), Dorsett won't play as much as him this season, but Johnson isn't going to stay forever. Plus I already mentioned that Cooper being a better receiver coming out of the draft doesn't mean much, everyone would say the same between Cooper being a lot better than Hilton, but Hilton is getting a lot of stats too. Edit: It's possible Dorsett will be the team's kick or punt returner.

Just to clarify, I'm only waiting to pick because the last owner who has yet to show up here picks in a few slots.
