NFL filed a suit first because they think they will have an easier time winning in the state of New York. And no craig440 I do not want your money, I was never going to accept it.

They're really giving Brady the same suspension as Greg Hardy. The NFL... Where plucking a bit of air out of a football is just as heinous a crime as domestic abuse. More probably than not having knowledge of an equipment violation is worse than: DUI, PED's, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, and Sexual Assault.

My current prediction is that the nflpa will back Brady and move toward a suit, but that the pre litigatory process will derail it when coupled with Brady's other career obligations. I don't believe this will ever see a trial craig440 cityofchamps go easy on patskid lol how is he going to pay rent guys c'mon.

i don't know who you watch/listen to. But it seems a lot of Yankee fans are forgiving when you know, he plays well. Shows like his and hers, PTI etc have talked sort of sympathetically. So yeah, they're coming around on ARod. Nope. He'll fail them eventually. He'll get caught with an underage girl or with a syringe stuck in ass...

No one ever talked about a "trial" only court and the suit has already been filed. You really think this doesnt end up in court at this point?

There's plenty of negotiations and leveraging that would have to go the NFLPA's way for it to get to trial. The NFL is holding all the cards and can easily strongarm the union. Unless the league wants it to go to trial or the union makes some bad mistakes, this will end up with one side being sour and neither side in court.

Good news in all of this that everyone seems to be overlooking is two stats.
1: Pats win the superbowl every time they draft an interior defensive linemen in the first round.
2: Pats win every regular season game after the NFL takes away a future first round pick.
Therefore: 19-0

cityofchampslol so Brady maybe or maybe not having any knowledge about footballs being deflated somehow compares to PED use in baseball. And less not forget everyone expected this decision so do not even bother getting excited. This will be won in court, just like every other case with no evidence. And there is no evidence that any cell phone was destroyed. That report is no different than the Mortenson report that claimed 10 balls were at least 2.5 PSI less than the required PSI, although I doubt you even remember that report that started this entire thing. Somehow possibly having knowledge of an equipment violation that is listed as a 25,000 dollar fine is worse than potentially killing someone while driving under the influence. 1. I wasn't talking about comparing what they did. I was comparing how A-Rod dug himself into a grave vehemently denying it and getting caught, which in fact forced him to admit what he did to what Tom Brady is doing now, which in fact destroyed his legacy and will keep him out of the Baseball Hall of Fame. 2. Before the decision, everyone was expecting it to be reduced in a settlement. There was that leadup. The evidence is circumstantial and the report is flimsy, but Tom Brady's actions throughout the investigation have not painted the picture of an innocent man. Quite the opposite in fact. 3. There is evidence to the cell phone being destroyed. Tom Brady HIMSELF admitted to that fact himself and tried to cover it up by testifying that he habitually destroys his cell phones when he purchases a new one (which was purchased on May 6th, or close enough to that date to where it looked suspicious). Also, this has gone FAR further than simply deflating footballs. As I said, this has gone from failing to cooperate with an investigation, to intentionally/willfully obstructing one. THAT is why Goodell upheld the suspension. 4. Somehow, I knew you would make this about the Steelers. I absolutely knew it. Keep this discussion on topic please. How the NFL punishes different actions has nothing to do with this discussion. That is a separate issue and even so, you cannot blame Bell for that or Steeler fans for that. That is an issue to direct towards the NFL and Roger Goodell.

Therefore: 19-0 1. The Patriots have never won every single regular season game whenever they draft an interior Defensive Linemen in the 1st Round. 2. The Patriots have never won a Super Bowl after the NFL takes away a future first round pick. Stats debunked.

Doesnt work that way when two things that cause success happen they will always cause success.
