Sean Smith being top 5 was unexpected. Where's Hyden? You mean Joe Haden?

Jurrell Casey was a 96 in Madden 15 and he's coming off the best year of his career. And now he's below a 92? They probably have him listed as a DE since the Titans play a base 3-4 Scheme (I know you say he is a DT, but Madden doesn't accommodate those kind of complex scheme differences yet, so he will be a DE, which means he is at most a 93, which will probably be the case). Yeah, you're probably right since he was a "DE" last year too in Madden despite still being a DT in real life. That's pretty stupid of Madden. Lots of teams play an unbalanced 3-4, just saying. Also, it's not a complex scheme difference. It's just a 4-3 DT and a 3-4 DE on the same line. The #-tech language is only used because it's easier to communicate on a real football field. In Madden 15, he was a 99 nose tackle if you subbed him there, which is ridiculous. He has never played there, is very slim to even be asked to play 5-tech, and could not start at nose tackle in the NFL, but according to madden, that makes a perfect nose tackle. Genius madden. For contrast: Dontari Poe: 6'3'', 346, 4.98 (and that was very good for his size) Casey: 6'1'', 298, 4.90 That's a fifty pound weight difference. You're talking about the difference between a linebacker and a quarterback.

He got rewarded for the Chiefs Pass Defense being really good last season after being really bad the year before. Madden does stuff like that.

As much as I hate to complain about Colts players' ranking, where the hell is Adam Vinatieri ranked? It's not that he went 16 weeks without a missed FG and led the NFL in accuracy...

They lowballed Chris Ivory the most out of any of these players. He should at least be an 83-85.

Stephon Tuitt gets lowballed...
Seriously, Shamarko Thomas has barely played in the NFL and they rate him a 76, yet Stephon Tuitt had played at arguably an elite level the 2nd half of the season and he gets rated a 73? That just isn't right...
Also, I will be PISSED if David DeCastro is rated lower than Kevin Zeitler...
