The numbers say otherwise. If you take short to mean under 10 yards per pass, mid to mean 11-20 yards per pass, and deep to mean 20+ yards per pass, then Ben has been the most accurate. Tom Brady RARELY threw the ball more than 20 yards down the field. 91% of his throws were for 20 yards or less. Doing it more often does not necessarily mean doing them better. Madden takes what they are known for as what they are good at, rather than looking at the actual percentages. Maybe I can't really complain about Brady's high rating, but they definitely lowballed Ben with an 87. He should at least be a 92, a 95 at the most. There's some inexact stuff going on here too CoC. They tweak some of these numbers to sort of get the Overall rating they want. If they give BBen more short throw, it could bump him into the 96 overall group, and they didn't want that for other reasons. But IDK why you've determined under 10 is the cutoff for a short throw. At what point in the game does it switch from short throw to mid throw to long throw for the stats? I know that, but still. If they want to keep the overall the same, I wouldn't be mad if they bumped his Play Action down (Ben hardly ever does play action anyway and isn't that good at it to be honest). Ben is more accurate than they are giving him credit for.

More than likely trying to cut down on the deep throw spamming online. Online gaming is a huge priority for Madden and that has been a thorn in it's side since the inception of it.

ODB is a little high, but he is the Cover Athlete, so they always overrate them (e.g. Peyton Hillis)

It can only be that because even the RBs are low rated in speed too I think they want to make speed a less important factor in Madden, since in past years, people could just spam fast players and get away with it, which created the perception that all you needed to succeed in Madden was speed (which was arguably the truth). They want to make it more competitive.

Kelce a 91? Did he make any spetacular catch during the season that I'm not aware of?
