The Bulls and Jimmy Butler are finalizing a 5-Year/$95 Million deal with a player option after 4 years The deal is now official. That's a lot of money though. And I'm happy we got Mike back. I hope we are able to add another solid wing so he can come off the bench. Still, he's a great shooter and he benefits with Rose (healthy) and Butler attacking the basket.

Raptors sign DeMarre Carroll to a 4 year $60 million dollar contract. Is this a good signing? I don't know much about the guy. I know the Raptors could use upgrades at SF and PF. Before he got to Atlanta, he was a terrible shooter. Atlanta was able to develop his scoring. He is an athletic, good defensive player that developed a decent shot while he was here. He is not going to score as much as DeRozan or Lowry. I wish the hawks could have kept him, but I don't blame him for taking that deal. His production really could dip. Only time will tell if his success was a result of our system.

The Philadelphia 76ers get Sauce Castillo! (aka Nik Stauskas) as part of a salary dump as well for Carl Landry and Jason Thompson. They also get a protected 1st Round pick from the Kings. They will send the Kings the rights to some overseas players to complete the deal. Wow. Huge.

Greg Monroe just signed a 3yr/$50 million deal to go to Milwaukee. Dang, that Central Division is getting good. Also there is a player option for the 3rd year. He meant to be able to hit free agency when the cap goes up to a record $108 Million.

Pistons trade 2020 second rounder for one of the Morris twins, Danny Granger, and Reggie Bullock to help the Suns clear cap room to make a run at LA.
Got a starting SF in Morris, Granger is looking like he'll be waived (can't be bad depth can he?), and Bullock will compete for a spot.

Reggie Jackson resigns with Detroit for $80 Million. Wow. Easily the biggest overpay this Offseason BY FAR. I wouldn't have given him more than $60 Million, and even that would have been a stretch.
