Mobile QBs get rating boosts on madden. I don't see Mariota at 78. 40 time plus great accuracy makes up most of his ratings. Awareness you can argue he'd be low. I think he's at or higher than Winston in Madden just because of how the game rewards mobile QBs.

Mariota's accuracy is questionable so a sub 80 rating is should be more expected than an 80 or higher. I'm sure the guy doing the ratings will remember RG3 coming out and doing good but then burning them just a year later. Winston will probably be in the 83-85 range as he's almost on par with Luck coming into the league. I could see Williams being the highest rated followed by Winston and then Cooper. Fowler might be a close fourth but he wasn't the second best player coming into the draft.

Jags fans should turn off "pre-existing injury" in franchise mode.

This is where I think the class will be after an update or two. The ratings usually just reflect their draft position at launch, so that's boring. Let's say this is week 8.
1. Jameis Winston: 84 2. Marcus Mariota: 84 3. Dante Fowler Jr: 80 4. Amari Cooper: 81 5. Brandon Scherff: 77 (awareness will hurt all lineman as rookies) 6. Leonard Williams: 80 7. Kevin White: 82 8. Vic Beasley: 83 9. Ereck Flowers: 75 10. Todd Gurley: 85 11. Trae Waynes: 78 12. Danny Shelton: 76 13. Andrus Peat: 77 14. Devante Parker: 77 15. Melvin Gordon: 80 16. Kevin Johnson: 74 17. Arik Armstead: 71 18. Marcus Peters: 74 19. Cameron Erving: 69 20. Nelson Agholor: 76 21. Cedric Ogbuehi: 77 22. Bud Dupree: 75 23. Shane Ray: 79 24. D.J. Humphries: 74 25. Shaq Thompson: 72 26. Breshad Perriman: 75 27. Byron Jones: 78 28. Laken Tomlinson: 80 29. Phillip Dorsett: 76 30. Damarious Randall: 72 31. Stephone Anthony: 77 32. Malcolm Brown: 77
