Shelton and Ngata in the middle of that line?? Holy shit... That would have to be the one of the biggest duos of all time Yeah, and no left guard under contract. AJ Cann in the second solves that. Or drafting a OT and moving Reiff inside to LG work too.

I wasn't actually complaining about picking a DT at all. To me, that the second most likely thing after OG/OT. I was saying they won't get Shelton because he's probably going in the top 10. He's also a 0tech 3-4 DT, and that would be a surprise to have two of those types on the same line. It could be really effective. Ngata has also played 5 and 3tech in his career, it's worth mentioning.

I was just wondering how many boxes of Krispy Kremes they could demolish together in one sitting I've been out of the sports loop for a while. What happened to the OT from LSU?

The short answer is that no one knows. His friend in New Orleans was pregnant. She was a victim of a hit and run, and the driver shot and killed her. Miraculously, the baby survived an emergency delivery and is okay. Collins was called to Louisiana for questioning, but the police have reiterated that he's not a suspect. They're just interviewing all of the victim's friends to try and find out everything about her. The media is speculating that this will hurt Collins stock drastically. There's no reason it should. No GM has any reason to believe that Collins had any control over this at all. The reality is that if a team was 50/50 between him and Andrus Peat, or him and Brandon Scherff, this might be enough. And that can lead to a draft slide, even though it really shouldn't. I dropped him from the best o-lineman to the second one taken as a result of this in my mock. I had to Miami at 14 and now I sent him to SD at 16.
