Miss Lacy has until 2pm to pick, at which point, Saskabronco is on the block for the Pack.

Chargers signed another guard today. I don't think we are drafting a OL man first pick.

www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/SDThis guy Huey is penciled in at LG #3. Free agency signings rarely affect the first round picks, and emergency depth signings pretty much never do. It looks to me like the biggest needs for SD are: LG, RB, NT, C, OLB, WR, CB, S. And apparently QB is on that list, if one believes the rumors, which I don't. The bottom line is, needs really don't matter half as much as people think. Look at last years first round. More than half the picks weren't a big need, and it was very rare that a team took a player at a gaping need. Jacksonville, Miami and Carolina were the teams that seemed committed to take a player at their first need. Most teams are pretty flexible and will take whoever they like best... as long as they think that guy will get snaps. Then again, Kansas City and Philadelphia actually took backups with their first round picks, stunning everyone. I think this strategy is terrible. Teams should get the best guy who can still make an impact based on his position. Tennessee took Taylor Lewan, and people thought they were drafting a backup RT with pick 11. He was our starting LT by week 6, and the only consistent guy on the whole line the entire season. Value >>> need.

Interesting you think Chargers need LG and Center. I disagree. We have Watt who was drafted high last year and was a guard. He was forced to center since we went thru an NFL record five centers. He did a great job. So I hope we would draft a center maybe. Move Watt back to guard. Or not. He could be a great center for years. So we have King Dunlap...... Great year last year D.J. Flucker..... Good year, might move to guard. Kris Watt..... Rockie last year and preformed great at center and guard. Orlando Franklin........ Ya the guy from Denver that we signed. A pro bowler I believe. Guard or Tackle. and a host of more. Like Robinson.
WE HAVE A LINE THAT IS HUGE.
I want to draft somewhere else besides OL.

this means 101mitch is still on the clock, but someone else should go for MrCincinnati since he's let us know he's busy right now and won't make it. Any takers? You'll be OTC as soon as 101mitch makes a different pick.
