Why would you be proud to be a homer? What you are saying is that you are proud to be biased and illogical. Being a Homer doesn't mean you are illogical. If I said Chiefs will go 12-4 you would call me a Homer, but that isn't illogical IMO Yes it does. Being a homer means that you think your team will do better or a player is better than you normally would just because you bias towards your team. Having a view just because of a bias is illogical.

Bias is most because a team fan knows their team most or better than any other team fan

everyone can be a little homerish, thats a given. Its the ones who think their team is the best at every position in history and deserve to have champagne falling from the sky everytime their names are mentioned give anyone with a more homer-ish point of view a bad name.
Some homers just like the talk shop about their team and only their team. Not giving them false praise just not going into detail about other teams except rivals maybe. These type of homers are fine in my book, even though we wont end up talking football to often outside of Raiders talk (If they are Raiders fans).

There is a difference between being a little homerish from time to time and then being Mant1s.. or even worse Pats18n1 those two are the ultimate homers.. Guys like Panther, CoC are a little bit homerish from time to time and it happens. I know with my Roughriders I can be homerish sometimes.. but yea we don't really have anyone like Mant1s or Pats 18n1 right now who is a super homer who you want to strangle when they get on the topic of their own team.. Which is all the time!

I'd rather have them win rather than me =P
