" 5. Moderators and Administrators. If there is a problem or recommendation that you have concerning the forum, you are urged to discuss it in a group message with yourself and the moderators of the forum via the private message function. Additionally, any member who calls out the decisions made by moderators on this forum, the post(s) will be immediately deleted and you will be urged to discuss what you want to via the personal message function of the forum." This specifically leaves out any language that would suggest that any addition or change in moderation status is even possible. If you want this to mean anything, you would need to successfully petition an existing moderator to change the rules. Good luck. It may not amount to anything, you may be correct.
As it currently stands, Panther really controls all and when he sees this thread it might sway him to make a decision and listen to the people.

just my opinion. Worst possible moderation teams:
1. JeffB and Saskabronco 2. Gobolts25 and patsk1d 3. Nateball89 and Patsk1d 4. Me and Saskabronco 5. Me and Morkim 6. JeffB and Morkim 7. MarchingOn and JeffB 8. EddieJ and MarchingOn 9. EddieJ and Morkim 10. EddieJ and Patsk1d 11. EddieJ and Juggs 12. Dive and MarchingOn 13. Dive and Morkim 14. Dive and Patsk1d
I think any other matchup is fine.

First of all I would like to ask, what is a good moderator for you. Good question. Thanks for asking.
A good moderator to me is someone who:
A) Is active B) Puts personal feelings aside and makes judgments based upon what is right and wrong at the current moment C) Is well-liked by many of the members on the forum, or at least tries to be friendly with everyone on the forum D) Focuses on the main point of the forum -- football E) Has the leadership skills necessary to resolve disputes without using the ban hammer F) Has an innovative mind and can make moves when it is a hard decision

LOL "listen to the people" You mean "listen to you" right? Keep waving the flag of the republic of Beastified. There is no 'people', there is no popular movement supporting a change. There is no "may" involved in whether or not this is valid or whether or not I am right in saying that the rules don't leave any room for a vote. It's a fact that the rules are written as they are. You're trying to debate the color of the sky. Of course, if Panther as an admin or another mod wants to make a change, that can happen, but just calling for a vote is not the right way to do that at all, not that it's neccesary. But if you want action on this subject, the proper way to do it would be to petition Panther via a PM to change the rules to include a method for, or even the fair possibility of a change. Then, if that happens (it won't), there could be an added or changed moderation team, but probably not via an election anyway. Remember that the precedent is that no action can happen at all. You're jumping to conclusions that an amendment to the rules would even call for an election, as opposed to direct appointment or cyclical representation, and you make that leap with no logical ground. Long story short: this vote is bogus. The rules need to specify a process for changing moderators. The fact that they don't means that you can't do this or anything like this.

You may or may not be correct because you cannot predict Panther's response to this vote. This vote is very much legitimate. If you do not want to vote then that is on you. Just do not cry later on if Panther puts two people as moderators while you had no say in the matter because you refused to vote.
I am considering of not voting for myself because of activity reasons. If this was back in the day, you better believe I would be 100% invested in this, but I am second-guessing myself at this point because my activity barely even makes the cut. If I'm going to be honest, I am probably not the best candidate at this point for that sole reason.

Okay, just repeat yourself. I guess that ends the discussion. Night.
