Well, following along those very same lines (NFL'.org' having to punish someone to lessen the tarnish), wouldn't the ref(s) be held culpable as well? I've mentioned this before, but no one addressed it. That it's a rule for a reason. So why does something as critical as the football itself go completely unchecked. Someone blew off their responsibility. And TBH, IDK whose responsibility it is to do what exactly.
Think about it...what if a team deflated to 9 PSI. Unless there was a turnover, the other team could never know. Hard enough to imagine some fans refuse to believe they are guilty. But to believe it doesn't make a difference, and that that kinda tampering is NO BIG DEAL - regardless of the outcome of that game - is totally unfathomable to me.

Several sources yesterday claimed this investigation was more so about the refs than the Patriots. We will know for sure in 2 months when Ted Wells releases his report...
