Yes, I'm cherry-picking, they are the exceptions, the anomalies (to a LOOSE extent) not the rule. But there are enough exceptions to warrant my view, and Falcons have been the surest of them. 4 of 6 of my leagues are PPR and ALL award return yds to the IOP. So values will differ from standard scoring. You mention Maclin/Mathews, sure that's fine. Was too busy to look into each team. But another perfect example of why you start both. Ya know, byes behind, peeps can be a little pickier. phew Sure, when your anomalies are top 10. That's exceedingly rare. And again, Maclin/Matthews are just barely acceptable, and Julio/Roddy are subpar.

I wasn't talking about PPR, was doing standard scoring....and in that they combined for 22.4 points. Barely acceptable to my view. And that's the second time it's happened all year. One instance does not a rule prove, or negate. But a full season's stats, well, that's a lot more indicative. To illustrate, here's a list of non-top-10 WR's who did better than Roddy, before the Sunday night or Monday games (in order, from lowest to highest-scoring): Brandon LaFell Greg Jennings Tavon Austin Keenan Allen James Jones Mike Evans Mohammed Sanu Golden Tate (though he's near-top 10) Louis Murphy (are you kidding me?) Josh Gordon (yeah, yeah, he comes with an asterisk) Justin Hunter Charles Johnson Stedman Bailey (who?) Jarvis Landry Anquan Boldin It does not matter if this is PR or not. I mentioned it only to give you a frame of reference as far as how the 2 may have been performing/scoring in relation to other WRs. Sure, when your anomalies are top 10. That's exceedingly rare. And again, Maclin/Matthews are just barely acceptable, and Julio/Roddy are subpar. My point is far simpler than you're making it out to be....If you have 2 guys from the same team whom you'd start either on, independent of who had the other, I'd start them both. That's it. It may seem counter-intuitive to some, but not to me once ya really think about it. Several teams have 2 top calibre WRs, some don't have 1. 32 teams, FF leagues maybe 10 or 12 teams most often. Sometimes a 2nd option on the same team is FAR better than a #1 on some teams, simple as that. Not that rare. Some teams rely more on the run game. When there are 2 or 3 good targets, all of them do better due to not getting double-covered.
