I've been offered Arian Foster and the Eagles D/ST for my Antonio Brown. "If" I were to do it, wouldn't be til after this week's games, since Foster won't play and Antonio will. I'm not sure if this trade would hurt or help my team. I'm thinking it could be beneficial to me because I already have Randall Cobb, and Josh Gordon is coming back next week. I also have Martavis Bryant, who has been cutting into Antonio's production, AND Keenan Allen(who has been hit or miss all season long). I'm thinking with the emergence of Bryant in the red zone, the cold weather forcing more run than pass, that Brown "could" be on a decline now. My current Rb's are Mathews, Jennings, Jeremy Hill, Terance West AND Joique Bell. Not too sure that I NEED a rb at this point. Jennings and Mathews were doing real well, before they got injured and are both back in the mix now. Jeremy Hill is very good when Gio's out(which has been frequently)and CIN isn't getting blown out, and still put's up points when Gio is playing. Terrence West looks like the truth over in CLE, but they do choose to use a three-headed approach, but West is getting the bulk of carries as of late. "West has received 41 of the 73 rush attempts by Cleveland backs the last two weeks, including a season-high 26 versus Cincinnati. Seemingly in control of the top backfield spot" I appreciate any and all input on this. Here is my team, and the league I speak of.... Flying High(team name)

The team that has Foster doesn't have the Eagles D/ST on his roster. I would stay with what you have.

The team that has Foster doesn't have the Eagles D/ST on his roster. I would stay with what you have. That's funny - and true. I looked over the league carefully. Assuming not keeper. First off, the trade wouldn't go through til next week anyway, so Foster being out is irrelevant. On its face it's still an almost even trade only cuz Brown has his bye next week, remember?!? Now, IDK how prepared Josh Gordon will be week 12. He's still allowed to practice with the 1st team, right?!?? So Brown's loss may not be felt that much. What is relevant is how serious Foster's injury is. He's not even a GTD, making him possibly iffy for week 12. All your RBs are timeshares or temp fill-in situations except for Jennings, who is not expected to get more than half the snaps this week. If Foster were good to go, and you could start him this week, I'd be tempted to make the trade. But ain't the case. Jennings and Mathews should be up to snuff by week 12. And chances are, at least one of your 3 timeshares (Joique Bell, Hill, West) will be in a 60-40 or 70-30 situation any given week, oft aided by the absence or questionability of Bush, Bernard. lol So for me, I'd keep my fingers crossed that that happens and probably reject the trade. Both have fairly sweet schedules, so toss-up there.

Matthews and Jennings should take over he lead role when they return. But other than that, hill is probably going to be very TD dependent in an AT BEST 50/50 timeshare with Gio. West looks like the lead back right now, but it's really a dice roll from week to week with the Browns' RBs. Bell isn't worth a whole lot. It looks like you have a few RB2s but no legit RB1. Allen has been doing better recently. Cobb is a WR1 and Gordon *should* be a WR1 also when he returns...Allen all end Bryant are a solid 3 and 4... tough call. Is it PPR?

Your take kinda mirrors mine. But yes, 1 PPR. It's all there in the settings. @eddiej2010 - wake up!!! You have Jeremy Hill on your bench, and Bernard is out this week to boot. You're starting Jennings and Mathews off injuries. You need to sit one. Or I think you have Martavis in the flex!? Might pull that guy. Seeing some garbage time @ TEN.

I would consider this and probably take it in a redraft league, but in a dyno, Fosters injury history makes me nervous.

A.Brown is the #1 receiver and yes M.Bryant has gotten some looks when in the red zone, but when it's all said and done Ben Looks for A.Brown more than the rookie Bryant.
People are all hyped about J.Gordon coming back but what kinda shape is he in and yes I know what he did last year but that doesn't mean he'll do it again. Hopefully Gordon comes back on fire like he did last year if so you'll be okay (that's if you make the trade).
Since he doesn't have the Eagles D/ST on his roster, if you really want A.Foster then give him a counter offer A.Brown & J.Bell and ask for Foster & J.Witten you could use some help at TE.
I agree with Dive you need to sit R.Jennings(he will be on a limited snap count) an start J.Hill for this week until you see how Jennings is.

What kind of league is it? Foster makes me nervous...it's probably a bit of a risk to trade for foster while w it h Brown you're getting a sure thing...plus it's PPR which adds to his value even more...adds things considered, I'd probably stick with Brown..but that could be the wrong call.

steelers54- No, he doesn't currently have the PHI D/ST on his roster, but said he'd work out another deal with the guy who does, in order to get this trade done, if I was willing to make it. I mentioned to him that I didn't feel great about my current D/ST(HOU), and that there were'nt really any good ones available on the waiver wire. Sure, it WOULD be a bit of a gamble because I'd be counting on Josh Gordon to replace Brown and play similar to the Josh Gordon of last year. He's most likely gonna have a difficult game or two out the gates initially, but he could be up to speed and kicking ass by the time FF playoffs start in weeks 14,15 & 16. I also like your counter trade offer of Brown & Bell for Foster & Witten. Not sure what I need more, D/ST or TE. I had really high hopes for Reed when I nabbed him off the WW, but the situation in WAS is just a mess. I'm paying special attention to how Reed does this week. Also want to see how HOU D/ST does for me this week too. Having JJ Watt alone is huge, and now that Clowney is back, this HOU D "may" be worth holding onto. You think Jennings is the one I should pull to make room for Hill? I was debating between sitting either Bryant or Jennings for Hill. Bryant has been on fire lately, but that's not sustainable. Is this the week he comes crashing back down to reality? I do think Jennings is capable of getting 20+ touches this week, and he catches the ball quite often. Not sure who to sit just yet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Divebitch- No, it's not a keeper. Re-Draft. No, it wouldn't normally go through in time for this weekend, but sometimes the LM pushes them through instantly. That's what he originally intended on doing with this trade, if I accepted. I told him NO way would I go for that. Giving away Antonio out of my lineup and not being able to plug in the injured Foster would cripple my team this week, and this is a BIG game there for me this week. I'm in third place at 6-4, only one game behind the two other teams in front of me(7-3). I'm facing the #1 team this week. Fighting for one of those two free passes in round 1 of the playoffs(bye). No, I didn't even realize that Brown still has a bye week next week. Nice catch. There's only two games left after this weekend before the playoffs start. They are all very important at this point, as I've still got two teams in front of me, and two other teams breathing down my neck with the same record as me(6-4). I do have the advantage of most points scored right now, giving me the tie breaker with any other team(tie breaker goes by points scored). Not having Brown next week sorta means alot. Hmm. No, Foster isn't a GTD this week, but he did originally have that status and the Questionable status throughout the week. He also practiced to some degree in a limited capacity on Friday. I'm thinking it can't be that serious if he was out there trying to practice some on Friday. Yes, Hill is on my bench, for now. I'm probably going to plug him in now that I know Gio is out. Problem is though, who should I bench to put him in? Mathews and Jennings both playing first time and will probably get limited touches. Mathews has the better match of the two, and has practiced in full all week. Coach Coughlin has said that Jennings won't get a "full workload" this week, and the Niners present a decent challenge. Then again, Coughlin said the same thing about Andre Brown when he came back from an injury last year, only to give him 30 carries in his first game back from injury. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Juggs - It is a re-draft league. Jancey- Yes, PPR. 1 point per reception. It is a tough call.

Do I sit Jennings or Martavis Bryant for Hill today, and if so, which one would you sit?
