I have not sat Frank Gore the ENTIRE season. Doesn't matter he hasn't scored a TD since week 4. 100 yds no TDS in the his last 3 games. But I sat him for the 1st time today. How does he repay me? Like a vindictive jealous bitch - 1st play a run, 2nd a TD. Now he's on freaking fire, doing even more. It's like a sick joke. FF has not been very good to me this year, except for 1 league out of 6.

FF has not been very good to me this year, except for 1 league out of 6. Thankfully, as you already know, I cannot say the same. Except in your Big Cheesy League, I'm the top scoring team in the other three leagues that I'm in. Sometimes it just goes that way, no matter how hard you plan on your draft, and all the other aspects involved. Some things are just wildly unpredictible in the NFL each season. A lot of it is guessing and gambling. The key is to make sure you're making educated gambles instead of just throwing darts in the dark.

You're #3 in your own 10-team league, so IDK what you're talking about. You will however get to kick my ass yet again @kffl next week. And I had a fighting chance in that league - 5th but 3rd pts for. Actually I'm good in 2 leagues, mine and the GY. I've had the worse luck in the world at both Yahoo. Yours too. Ball, Tate, Jennings. All gone for around half a season. On top of draft mistakes. Brees in 1st (most embarassing mistake ever), V-Jax in 3rd who is worthless. It's a fine line between educated gambles and shots in the dark. In my experience this year, more seem the former but turn out the latter. The RB position this year has been the most WILDLY unpredictable of all since I've been doing FF.

The RB position this year has been the most WILDLY unpredictable of all since I've been doing FF. You are correct. Being the top scoring team doesn't ensure that you'll be on top. Funny how that works. I'm the top scoring team in my CTM league, but still currently in 3rd place. However, the good news there, is that my team is clicking on all cylinders at the right time, which is NOW, after having a slow start due to injuries and strength of schedule. I have a very good shot there now to still earn a first round bye in the playoffs. My team has a REAL head of steam, and it appears that I'm going to annihilate the 2nd place team this week. I'm in sole place of 3rd at 6-4, both teams ahead of me are 8-2. One of those teams I'm about to knock down to 8-3, while giving myself a 7-4 record, and still 2 games to go before the playoffs start. I have Peyton Manning at Qb, with Romo as his backup. Manning is the 2nd best Qb there, real close within reach of Andrew Luck. Matt Forte & Justin Forsett as my starting Rb's, along with Ronnie Hillman(when he returns). Probably the best Duo/trio of Rb's in the league(4th & 6th best). At WR, a now healthy Megatron to go alongside of Jeremy Maclin. Probably the best duo of WR's in the league too, although stats won't show it due to Megatron's injury. Not to mention I also have Beckham & LaFell as my deadly depth WR's to back them up, or put in one of two flex spots. Yeah, I think I'll be alright there. In fact, a force to be reckoned with. CTM LeagueSame story in my money league. Top scoring team, but again, in 3rd place. 6-4 there too, but both teams ahead of me are tied with a one game lead over me at 7-3. Ironically enough, I also have the chance to beat one of those two in a head-to-head matchup this week as well. I'm thinking of making one last trade there too, but that's for another thread. Anyways, I have a legit shot still to win it all there too. ( Money League) Flying High is the name of my team there. It's a different story in Steeler Jeff's NFFL league though. I've scored 200 more points than the next best team, and over 600 more points than the lowest scoring team, and in SOLE place of 1st with a 9-1 record. Rivers & Cutler as my Qb's. Murray, Lynch & Forsett as my Rb's. Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders & Cooks as my WR's, along with DET & MIA as my DEF/ST units. Yeah, gonna be real hard to stop that train from chugging right along. Perhaps the best team I've ever assembled. NFFL League

Brag some more, why don'tcha?
2nd most points scored in the GY auction league and 2nd to LAST in the standings. It's a joke. My points against are 104 more than the next-highest team. I need to hire a hit man for my opponent's team. The futility is insane.

It's a killer if you're in a tough division, and those in it get lucky a few weeks and beat you by 2 pts. Then you slaughter the other division, and the guys in your own div beat them by 2 pts. Just an example, but you get my drift.

Jersdal and I are co league managers. I'm not sure how the tie breaker is set. I better check. It the league that Miss Lacy won two years ago and we didn't use it last year. Kind of a last minute thing to bring it back since we dropped the OG vs NG league. Go Bolts has scored lots of points but doesn't have many wins. So I don't think its h2h.

Yeah, it's head-to-head...matter of fact, the only league I've ever played in that wasn't was that best/luckiest league that Ace won. I had one blowout win, by 36 points, squeaked past in the other two wins, and lost by 10-20 points in the other games (except for one blowout loss by 60 points last week).

I sat Mike Evans for Odell Beckham today. I had Brandon Marshall on the Bench too.
