Might be the weakest of any team. Question if you had this roster with all the players in their prime how many games would they win this season?

You mean against all other teams made up of their best players or against the rest of the teams as they are now? Teams as they are now... I'd say a good 12 to 14 wins, this team although weak compared to other all time teams is still very impressive. Their O-line would be as good as any in the league right now, and would give Taylor and MJD a lot of holes to tear teams apart with. Their WRs aren't great but again thanks to the line Brunnell would have more than enough time to find the open receivers, and if Lewis would actually be healthy he'd be a great TE to have. On defense they are lead by two fantastic DTs who in their prime were both top 5 DTs in the league, and their LBs are very strong. Peterson was incredible in his prime, and Daryl Smith is one of if not the most underrated LBs in the league in the past decade. Teams wouldn't be able to run against this team. Their secondary is also very strong, Mathis in his prime was a premier shutdown corner, and Beasley was a good ball hawk. Their safteys are also very good so they have no problems in the secondary. Only worry about the defense would be their passrushers. Brackens was good, but Meir... not so much. However playing beside Stroud and Henderson would REALLY help those guys out a lot and the team would still get good pressure. The'd be a superbowl contender in the league now IMO.

They would be almost a lock for the playoffs, and probably super bowl favorites, but the fact that this team isn't even as good on paper as a few NFL teams is really telling. Fred Taylor and Jimmy Smith are great, and then there's really nothing better than a good NFL team here.

They have only had a few generations of players come and go through their squad so for them only to have a few truly great players isn't a surprise. Look at Houston and Carolina, neither of them will have much better of a team than the Jags.. Even the Ravens all time roster won't be overly impressive compared to the teams that have been around much longer.

You could almost cry looking at this. Wonder if the cream of their crop from combined years could even make it to the AFC Championship.

You could almost cry looking at this. Wonder if the cream of their crop from combined years could even make it to the AFC Championship. They made it twice just as a normal team. So I'd say so.
