Romo is there all time leading passer and Danny White nearly sunk the franchise. I wouldn't hesitate putting tony #3. Other changes I would make would be finding a a better roster spot than Jay Ratliff. He was pretty overrated in his prime and he faded fast. Me thinks you are being to hard on Danny White. I understand that he was taking over for a legend (Roger Staubach) and there was no way he could fill his shoes. But lets not forget that White had 4 excellent seasons from 1980-83. With 1982 being perhaps better than any season Tony Romo has had when adjusted to a full season. Danny White had a 62-30 record as a starter for the Cowboys compared to 69-47 for Romo. White also had a 5-5 career record in the playoffs while Romo is 1-3. Now all that said I do think their overall value to be roughly even at this point in time. After this season I'll take another look and Romo will likely replace White on this team.
You know what? I don't like the Ratliff pick either. I'm replacing him on the roster with Larry Cole. Better?

Steelers are gonna be better Wait till he does the Packers. Aaron Rodgers might only be the 3rd best QB sent from your moms bed The 49ers have a ridiculous team to.

But remember White was JUST good enough to convince Dallas not to trade for Elway. And that ended up getting Landry fired in the long run, and that led to the dark years. That's what I meant by White almost sinking the franchise. It's not that he wasn't a great QB, he was pretty good and by stats he might merit the spot on this list, but he set the franchise back a decade in the long run. Then again, Romo sort of has too in terms of super bowls and playoff wins. I'd still take Romo however, since he came from nothing and it's not like the Cowboys passed on him for Elway! Jeez what a bad call.

That was 6 years later. By those same standards Romo has been just good enough to lead the Cowboy to 8 wins each season which keeps them was making the playoffs and also keeps them from having a terrible season and getting a high draft pick to take a franchise quarterback. As a Bears fan I have the same problem with Cutler. Aren't good enough to make the playoffs with him, not bad enough to rebuild either.

The Cowboys probably have the best all-time team of any NFL franchise out there. Good lord, they are stacked. Drew Pearson...hes no Harold Carmichael
